Having remembered when this film was marketed in theaters, as another Bourne type spy film or a version of other female assassin films as Salt, it did not spark much interest. For these type of action thriller revenge type films, perhaps people expected a bit much. The trailers showed exactly the type of film it was and it played it as it should. An entertaining, with thrills and suspense revenge assassin movie type not so much dialogue but tons of mindless actions. This film is quite underrated as it was a box office flop and showed that perhaps audiences did not like Zoe Saldana as much as studios had thought. A better film than critics give credit for. Zoe Saldana delivers a very solid performances and some of the action scenes are quite clever and intriguing. Some things which could have been done without or better, are a poor and forced relationship subplot involving Saldana and a random guy she meets while in Chicago. Even though Colombiana may be a predictable female heroine revenge film (as in we know she will find the killers and get back at them), it still delivers in what it was meant to, and as that is being exciting and thrilling.

We just bought this movie and WE LOVED IT! Oh.... my... gosh! My husband and I are always looking for a movie that really get to us and this movie did just that. This is exactly the type of movie that we enjoy. We got rid of our satellite TV connection and we only watch movies. No commercial TV. We invest in movies that we believe that we can watch over and overZoe, this was YOUR movie. You were so good. You should have been Catwoman. You were SO GOOD. I loved the way the movie played out and the situations. I LOVED not knowing HOW you (your character) did what you did. You are beautiful and I loved your determination. This was such a great movie and I want everyone to see it. If you have a brain in your head. . . WATCH THIS MOVIE.Oh, my gosh, I really loved it.

I was a fan of Zoe she is beautiful and great for an actress. She was great in Star Track and about arravege in Guess who. When I saw this movie when I was on a holiday in Bali Aka south east Asia it appeared on TV. Since I had nothing else better to do I diced to watch at I thought It was going to be boring but I kind of liked it. I don't get it why this movie is so much hate I think its a great movie and one of the better movies I seen so Think you give this movie another chance because it will surprise you in many different ways. Overall another great film you should go and watch it won't let you down 8/10

Zoe Saldana is strong, beautiful, and intelligent actress. She sure holds her own in this under rated action film. An action movie staring a female is rare, only Zoe, Angelina Joey and Halle Berry could carry it off, but in this film I cannot imagine any other actress doing it better. Maybe Halle Berry could have? I was also surprised at the rating as this is a much better movie than many I have seen. Zoe was equally tough and sexy and she made the story believable.The film also starts really well and I found myself gripped by the young actress playing her part really well. It kept my attention throughout.The jail cell scene was very clever and the action level was just about right. I would highly recommend this film to any action loving fan.
