Synopsis
Each week the talented batch of bakers will face with a range of creative and exciting chocolate-based competitions that will test their sweet imaginations and put their baking skills to the test. These challenges include everything from creating an out-of-this-world chocolate creation with a galactic mirror finish and baking an over-the-top spectacle cake, to re-imagining a classic campfire treat and creating a chocolate confection with a spicy kick. Some of the bakers may melt under the pressure and only one will taste sweet victory by claiming the title of Great Chocolate Showdown champion and the $50,000 grand prize.

Episode 7 : Don’t Be Afraid to Take Whisks

As the finale approaches only four remain and a 3D chocolate molding Technique Test gives the bakers one last chance to impress the judges and secure their spot in the final 3. One baker is given the opportunity of a lifetime after they boldly re-imagine a chocolate bar.

Episode 6 : Life Is What You Bake It

The stakes are higher than ever with only five bakers remaining and immunity is off the table for the rest of the competition. Bakers get a lesson in sculpting and try to carve out the competition as they transform ordinary cupcakes into fantastic floral centerpieces. In the Chocolate Elimination Challenge, the home bakers pair chocolate with sweet and savoury treats to maintain their place in the competition.
