This film was so good. Because players have made their role so successfully. Everything that they've done, were coming from their heart. Also that's totally demonstrate the Anatolian people. Their behaviours, their talking style and their gestures were really good. And also in the film, there is something especially emphasised. I don't want to say, but these are really good.

Wow, what a wonderful movie! The present title has been made with greatest art and would deserve rivers of words to praise every fantastic detail the Authors put in there just to entertain and show us. But this isn't the place: simply put, user's reviews exist just to help others to decide whether or not to watch the flick. And my answer is 'yes, definitely'.Just one word for Anatolia: the story is catching, the characters are interesting, the words are more than appropriate but the scenery steals the eye. Probably none wants to live there but Anatolia is full of life. Real, poor, human life.

Once Upon a Time in Anatolia is a 2011 Turkish movie. A beautifully well-made film. A group of Officers including a Prosecutor, Doctor, Police Commissioner, the Suspect, his Brother and other Officers are in search of the dead body. The suspect has already confessed about the murder and he agrees to show the place where he buried the victim. But, it was not as easy as that. The suspect was drinking that night and it was too dark. It made the group to search one location after another. Too tired and frustrated, the go to rest in a place. The movie is slow but, it will take your heart for sure. Each and every character is well made, well described and beautifully portrayed. Actors have done a great job in making it real authentic. As the film ends, every character is close to us. Everyone has their own story. The movie travels in through a story, but, I was stuck up in another story that the film maker has implanted into my mind. It should have been purposeful.Do not miss this amazing movie. A must watch.#KiduMovie

This film is a cinematic sleeper of profound vision. It unveils its mysteries so slowly you wonder if anything is happening but like drips forming a stalactite each shot builds the story.I saw this in a film festival and even after 2 years there are striking visual scenes that stay with me. In many ways this film seems almost unscripted but that is a triumph of art over artifice is what makes it a great film rather than just the slow almost documentary style reveal it appears to be. This film is an outlier and in time will be understood for the masterpiece that it is.
