Jai is a country sort of girl who is pretty bold while Jaokhun is a stuck up rich city guy. He is very shy and can’t stand being the center of attention because of a past experience and is still ridiculed by Matt for it. Jai is delivering something to the city and runs into Jaokhun, where they didn’t get off to a good start when Jaokhun almost kills her with his car making her drop her last piece of pork. His girlfriend, Amy, is also cheating on him with his rival, Matt. Jai still isn’t over her ex boyfriend, Goh, and keeps thinking about him.

Payu is the son of Meka, a popular politician with a good heart. Meka is a widower and a single father. He raised his son alone since the death of his wife years ago. They have a strong bond. Meka is dating Napa, a confident police woman and the captain of the Special Investigative Unit. Unlike Meka who has a good relationship with his son, Napa has a strained relationship with her daughter Fah. Fah blames her for the death of her father, who committed suicide. Since the death of Akat, Fah has distanced herself from her. Fah went out on her own and graduated with a degree in computers. She works as a computer programmer, but also does illegal hacking, which further puts a strain on her relationship with her mother. Fate played a cruel joke on Payu and Fah, as both were framed for horrible crimes at the same time and they met on the day they were being transported to prison. Because a killer was after them, Payu and Fah escaped together and begin to search for the truth.

Nevertheless, Kati has learned through these steps that the sorrow from her losses cannot take away her happiness she has received from her mother's love and bonding. Mukarin finds out that Intouch and Praejai are deeply in love. With the help of his parents, she tries everything against Praejai. Later, being a music producer, Intouch meets Palita, who is a singer. Palita falls for him at first sight and she is furious when she finds out that Intouch is in love with Praejai, her old classmate. Later, Praejai is pushed off a boat by Palita. Everyone, including Intouch thinks that Praejai is dead. However Praejai comes back as a whole new person and takes revenge on everyone who harmed her.

Opapatika is a special power that makes one become practically invincible. The power remains alive so long as that person is remains alive. In this film, five Opapatikas, each with their own unique power, are brought together. They meet in the middle of a great assassination that finally brings them loss, but a new start of their lives.

One of three films commissioned by the Jeonju International Film Festival in 2006. It is a short film based on Beauty and an Airplane, a short story by Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Ratanaruang's film tells the story of a man (Ananda Everingham) who falls in love with a woman (Khemapsom Sirisukha) he sees at the check-in counter of an airport. Most of the film takes place in the sleek blackened interior of the plane's cabin -- the camera panning between the two seats, lighting now one, now the other of the occupants. The two passengers never exchange a word, title cards occasionally allowing us to know what the man is thinking. Those familiar only with his work on Dumplings or Wong Kar-wai's films might be surprised at cinematographer Christopher Doyle's uncustomary restraint. Christopher Doyle doubles as both taxi driver and captain in the film.
