In Moscow, under unusual circumstances, Ignat meets a mysterious girl Taisia Artemyev and meets her whole family: mother Yulia, sister Dusya and intelligent, eccentric grandmother Yanga Lvovna. This meeting turns everything upside down in the life of an astronomer. And on New Year's Eve, Ignat will have to make an important decision that will change not only his life, but also his new acquaintances.
