Synopsis
VLADISLAV ABASHIN was born in 1979 in Ryazan, Russia. He studied to become a locksmith, played in the rock band “Sabateus Charabede”, and worked numerous jobs before a car accident in 1997 left him with serious head injuries. During his convalescence, Abashin started to read classical literature and developed an interest in theatre. In 1999, now fully recovered, he moved to Moscow and enrolled in the directing course of The Russian Institute of Theatre Arts. Upon graduation, he began his career with appearances in TV series before moving quickly into feature films. Notable credits include “In the Fog” (Sergey Loznitsa, 2012), and “Territory” (2015) and “Terra Nova” (2008), both directed by Aleksandr Melnik.

Maelstorm
A group of investigators finds murdered teenagers in a city collector. Unraveling this case step by step, the police faces an unconditional evil - a whirlpool of a big city, which sucks and destroys the weak - those whom no one loves and does not care for. This evil destroys people with impunity, and each of the characters is forced to face it personally, look inside themselves to meet their own demons and fears.
The Watchman
The protagonist Vlad is a man of about forty; he lives and works as watchman in an old sanatorium that is due to be demolished. He obviously needs this work to live the life of a hermit. One night a married couple appears at the sanatorium: Vera and Stas. They are on the run. They are pursued by former friends and business partners of Stas. Vlad decides to help them, because he too is hiding from the past. Each character is threatened with the inevitable payment for wrong choices in the past, but helping each other, they try to expiate these faults.
The Factory
When a factory is bound to close, a group of workers decides to take action against the owner.
Three Days Till The Spring
During the siege of Leningrad a Nazi bombshell destroys the storage of an experimental medicine institute where deadly dangerous viruses were kept. Severe winter weather prevents an epidemic from breaking out in the besieged city. But the spring is coming, and Leningrad is on the brink of bacterial catastrophe. Doctor Maritskaya and NKWD officer Andreew have only three days to save the city.

Slide
The main characters are above the law. They are a group of police investigators wallowed in criminal activities. But the criminal scheme worked out by the experienced d team begins to fail. There appears to be a mole reporting directly to FSB. When Pepl finds himself in a life threatening situation he starts thinking about the existence for the first time ever. Once he begins to think he can not go back to his former self. The team begins to suspect that he is a mole. The former coworkers turn into mortal enemies.
The Bomber
During World War II, a soviet aircraft crashes on Nazi-occupied territory. But the pilot Grivtsov and his beloved radio operator Katya miraculously survive. Another survivor is flight navigator Linko, who ejected from the plane. Each of them has to find his way and perform military tasks, return to his own forces and simply to stay alive. The situation becomes more complicated because of an act of sabotage, which has been committed before their take-off at the aerodrome. Honest Grivtsov gets on the bad side of the colonel of SMERSH by defending his friends. Instead of being granted a medal "Star" for his 100th flight, he is pronounced a traitor and is to be executed.
Terra Nova
A story, which takes place in 2013, describes the world overflowing with "dangerous" criminals due to the official termination of death penalty. The UN "blue helmets" under the directive from the central authority (i.e., One World Government) decided to conduct a social "experiment" by forcibly dumping the outlaws on the deserted island...
Bummer 2
The film takes place a few years after the events shown in Bummer. Kostyan "Kot", who lost all his friends, the woman he loved and was nearly killed in the first installment of the film tries to begin a new, peaceful life. But is it possible to do? Has Russia changed and do "bratki" on black "bummers" no longer control business? Can he escape his past?
Countdown
Terror from within by Yury Felshtinsky and Alexander Litvinenko, representing them as parts of the plan masterminded and sponsored by exiled tycoon Pokrovsky (obvious hint at Boris Berezovsky in real life) and aimed to discredit Russian security services. As this plan has failed, Pokrovsky assisted by some terrorists organizes a hostage taking in a Moscow circus (very similar to Moscow theater hostage crisis in real life) in order to return to Russia, acting as a saver of the hostages during negotiations. However, he fails to do so. The movie also depicts the Pankisi Gorge in Georgia as a place where an important Islamic militant hides, which was a common allegation by Russian authorities in real life around that time, and depicts destruction of a base of terrorists and allies of Pokrovsky in Qatar which might hint at the assassination of Zelimkhan Yandarbiev. Overall, the movie was widely considered propaganda.
