Mohan Agashe

Synopsis

Mohan Agashe is an Indian actor, who has worked in the Marathi and Hindi film industries. He made his debut in Samna (1974), followed by Aakrosh (1980), Mashaal (1984) and Rihaee (1988). Agashe then starred in Mississippi Masala (1991) and Target (1995). Mohan was awarded the Sangeet Natak Akademi by the Government of India in 1996. He has made an appearance in films like Ab Tak Chappan (2004), Jism 2 (2012), Jolly LLB (2013), Deool Band (2015), Welcome Zindagi (2015), Sarpanch Bhagirath (2016) and Lost & Found (2016). He is an actor and producer, known for Kaasav: Turtle (2017), Rang De Basanti (2006) and Gandhi (1982). He is also a psychiatrist. He is the Director of the Maharashtra Institute of Mental Health. His expertise in the field of psychiatry and acting are mutually complementary and he is well respected in both circles.
