Takamura Misono works for a company that makes tsukemono (preserved vegetable side dishes). She enjoys listening to podcasts and eating alone at home from food bought at franchise restaurants on her way from work. She isn't very good socializing with other people, but she is enthusiastic when she talks about things she likes. Her co-worker Sudo Arisa suggests to her that she should start her own podcasts. Following her suggestion, Takamura Misono starts a podcast titled Omimi ni Aimashitara. Her co-worker Sasaki Ryohei also joins the podcast. While doing the program, Takamura Misono grows as a person.

Every woman's dream is to be able to resign from work after finding a man who can support her. Office lady Yaeko does exactly that. Except between the time of her resignation and the chiming of the wedding bells her (future) husband finds a prettier woman and dumps her. Yone Sakurai is a program director for a psychic variety TV show called "Asunaro Psychic". She is stressed out and tired from her work, but proud of what she is doing. Yone actually believes in psychic abilities. By an audience request a new plan is set out for the program, a plan which requires the show to uncover real psychics or psychic events.
