Synopsis
Jiiva is an Indian film actor who predominantly appears in Tamil films. Son of film producer R. B. Choudary, he started his career as a child actor in his father's films in 1996. He performed his first lead role in the 2003 romantic film Aasai Aasaiyai, before starring in Raam (2005), for which he won the Best Actor Award at the Cyprus International Film Festival. In his subsequent films, he has taken on roles of various types such as a stuntman in Dishyum (2006), a slum dweller in E (2006) and a psychopath in Kattradhu Thamizh (2007). On 21 November 2007, Jiiva married his childhood friend Supriya in New Delhi.[27] Supriya is a MBA graduate and an interior designer by profession. The two first met in 1994 when he was studying in a school in T Nagar.[28] They have a son named Sparsh born in 2010.

Boss Engira Baskaran
Bhaskaran is a happy-go-lucky guy, who is yet to complete his B.A. degree, writing arrear examinations annually for years. His only friend is Nallathambi who owns a barber saloon, which he received as a dowry for marrying a two-month pregnant woman. He lives with his mother, Sivakami, brother Saravanan who is a successful veterinarian and sister, Nithya. When his brother marries Nandhini, he gets to meet Nandhini's younger sister Chandrika and wishes to marry her. When he approaches his family for a chance, everyone talks very frankly of his unemployed status which rankles him and he leaves his house to prove himself. With the support of Nallathambi, he establishes a tutorial for Class 10 students and despite early setbacks makes it work, while also convincing Chandrika, who eventually reciprocates his love. However despite all this, Chandrika's father is against her marriage with Bhaskaran for a reason which is revealed in the end.

Hari (Jeeva) is an unemployed youth who runs a pavement book shop in Tripiclane area. His father (Nagesh) an upright retired school teacher buys him a shop in a building with his PF money. He names it “Periyar Bookshop” and runs it with friend Karunas. Meanwhile he constantly bumps into Pooja (Pooja), a television reporter and a love-hate relationship happens! However, one day a Malaysian based businessman (Seeman) comes and evicts him from the shop claiming that the place belongs to him. Hari discovers that his father was cheated by a land mafia gang which specializes in forged documents and is hand-in-glove with revenue officials. Hari decides to take the gauntlet and unveil the evil forces behind those property grabbers.
Rameswaram
Vasanthi (Bhavana) is the daughter of the big man (Lal), who does a lot of help for the refugees. Bhavana instantly falls for Jeevan (Jeeva), a Tamil refugee, staying in the camp in Rameswaram. Jeevan, nurturing a dream to go back to his home land, keeps on discouraging the girl, who is stubborn in her love. Jeevan’s heart, influenced by the pure love of the girl, starts melting slowly. Enters Bose Venkat, the cousin of Vasanthi with full of dreams to marry his childhood sweetheart. He joins as an Inspector in the local police station. The whole family is eagerly awaiting their marriage.
