Basically an updated remake of Bucktown......with Bus as Fred Williamson.......and that pretty model in the Pam Grier role. This is halfway decent flick that could have been a great and funny B movie.... good performances from X to the Z, and from Spliff Starr as a "latino thug"...... I tried to watch the entire flick without pushing the fast forward button...but after 3 attempts..I just gave up.Busta has good screen presence..but this director does him dirty by shooting this movie like it was an After School Special. He tries his best fill the "Hammer's" on screen shoes though with tough talk, swagger, and beat downs galore...The model in Pam Grier's role.....cannot fill her shoes..or her bra, for that matter.....she's cleavage deprived..fortunately...one of the women playing Bus' father's girlfriend has more than enough cleavage to make up for that. Her name is Masasa....and her cleavage baring wake-weeping shot steals the scene......She is fully developed......which is the opposite of what I can say for this film......Full Clip is really only shell casings....

Oh, man. Anyone who ever went to film school has seen footage as bad as this. During the viewing of your classmates' first film class assignments. Mink (I love how he's too cool for school and doesn't want people to know his real name) truly has no clue where to put the camera, or what to tell his "actors", or what directing means. One of my favorites is a dialogue scene outside someone's apartment or store, I think, and some lady keeps sweeping with a broom all over the place while two other people exchange painfully bad dialogue. Never mind that there's no dirt on the ground to sweep (1) or that her way of sweeping would've spread the dirt all over the place had there been any (2), or the fact that the blocking is so uninspired that most of the time you must wonder who's speaking, and more importantly, why (3). So you succumb to the horror, which is SO painful to watch, the only way to cope with the level of badness is to laugh uncontrollably at the horrific performances by (of course) rappers (as we all know, when you can string rhymes together, clearly you're more than qualified to act in motion pictures, too. No more training is required). My recommendation: (w)rap this piece of crap and put it where it belongs: in the garbage.

This movie is basically like a 90 minute music video I like rap, gangster action movies, and it has all of the above. For some reason, someone thinks, if they can sing/rap, then i guess the can act. Thats like letting your psychiatrist take the place of your surgeon and do open heart surgery because they're both doctors. It has lots of action, which is good. The music is good if you like rap. It even has a decent plot. However, it has some of the worst acting I've seen since hitmans run(search it on IMDb lol). I'm sure full clip has more of a budget than hitmans run, and it is definitely better.Just don't watch this movie expecting a great movie. Like i said its more like a music video. If you can find a trailer I'm sure you can see some of the bad acting in it.If you REALLY like rap movies, then you would probably enjoy this. Another movie like this, Never Die Alone with DMX(not that good but better than this) might be an alternative suggestion. It has better acting but is kind of strange.

First off, Busta Rhymes and Xzibit are 2 of my most favorite rappers ever. When I saw both were in a movie together, i flipped. This movie is just plain bad. The city of "Alabaster" only about 500 or so people living in it. But in the scenes when Pope (Busta) is driving you can clearly see it a lot larger than its supposed to be. I even saw skyscrapers in one shot. Sheriff Wallace was totally miss-cast, I wasn't even convinced that he was a sheriff. This movie also has some of the worst lines I have ever heard. The pace of the movie is quick at first, but then begins to drag early on. Another thing that was missing was accents, its in Alabama. I live in Georgia, I know not everyone has a southern draw, but some of the locals of "Alabaster" had northern accents. I could go on, but it just makes me sadder. Anyway just rent it first, then if you like it buy it. But I just wasn't feeling it. Peace.
