This was a good event. There were plenty of good matches, but it wasn't without its bad ones.United States Championship Match: MVP (c) vs. Matt Hardy - A very good opening match. It was given a good amount of time and it had more near-falls than you would expect from an opener. These two have really good chemistry. MVP retains with the Playmaker. RATING: ***1/4Cruiserweight Open: Chavo Guerrero (c) vs. Jamie Noble vs. Funaki vs. Shannon Moore vs. Jimmy Wang Yang - The match was fun to watch while it lasted, even if there isn't much storytelling to it. Hornswoggle comes in and wins the match, becoming the final Cruiserweight Champion. The hay?! RATING: **1/2Singapore Cane on a Pole Match: Carlito vs. The Sandman - A completely disposable filler match. Carlito wins. Next. RATING: *1/2Intercontinental Championship Match: Umaga (c) vs. Jeff Hardy - Another good match. Jeff Hardy is always exciting to watch, and he pulled a good match out of Umaga. Umaga retains with a Samoan Spike. RATING: ***1/4ECW Championship Match: John Morrison (c) vs. CM Punk - These two were still budding at this time, but they did manage to put on a very well-wrestled match. It could have used a few more minutes, though. John Morrison wins with a kick in mid-air. RATING: ***Texas Bullrope Match: Randy Orton vs. Dusty Rhodes - A complete waste of time. It was mostly to further establish Randy Orton as a legend killer, and it kind of failed even at that. Orton wins. RATING: DUD Triple Threat Match for the World Heavyweight Championship: The Great Khali (c) vs. Batista vs. Kane - This wasn't very good, but it's not like anyone expected it to be. The Great Khali retains his title. RATING: *3/4WWE Championship Match: John Cena (c) vs. Bobby Lashley - This was a great main event. It was a great powerhouse match that showcased both men very well. They build up plenty of drama and good near-falls. The show of respect after the match was also cool. John Cena retains his Championship with an Attitude Adjustment from the top rope. RATING: ****The bad matches do weigh it down, but several good matches and a fantastic main event make this a decent show overall.RATING: B-

Match 1: Montel Vontavious Porter (c) vs Matt Hardy for the United States Championship - Of course this title needed to be booked because of the name of this event. A pretty good opener. They really made MVP a strong United States Champion. Hardy looks pretty dominant as well, like he really is ready for a huge singles career. In the end MVP hits his Player's Boot to retain the title. Solid opener.Match 2: Cruiserweight Open for the Cruiserweight Championship - Chavo is the Champion heading into this one as he defends against Jamie Noble, Jimmy Wang Yang, Shannon Moore and Funaki. Very solid high impact match. Hornswoggle lands a tadpole splash on Noble to claim the title, even though he wasn't assigned to the match. Pretty decent.Match 3: Carlito vs The Sandman in a Singapore Cane on a Pole Match - Sandman being on Raw is a little useless being that he is an ECW original. Anyway they put him in this feud with Carlito just for kicks and throw this match together. Better than you would expect actually. In the end Carlito hits a back stabber for the win.Match 4: Candice Michelle (c) vs Melina for the Women's Championship - Actually decent considering that the diva's matches usually aren't eventful. In the end Candice retains. Not surprising, but still a good match.Match 5: Umaga (c) vs Jeff Hardy for the Intercontinental Championship - For a big guy Umaga is an awesome performer. He proves that in this match with Jeff Hardy. A good amount of time to display one of WWE's most valuable titles. Hardy does some impressive stuff, but in the end gets nailed with a Samoan spike. Umaga retains. Both Hardys may have lost, but they proved they are fantastic singles wrestlers.Match 6: John Morrison (c) vs CM Punk for the ECW Championship - Very short and simple ECW Championship match. Punk is the hungry challenger looking to pull out all the stops to defeat the newly named John Morrison. Morrison also proves that he is a worthy champion on his new brand. A very good title match, with Morrison scoring the win in the end. Solid mid card title match.Match 7: Dusty Rhodes vs Randy Orton in a Bull Rope match - Just a big draw sort of match. Dusty's wrestling skills aren't what they used to be. Some total domination from Orton. In the end he smacks Dusty with the bell for the win. Fans seemed shocked that Dusty actually lost to Orton.Match 8: The Great Khali (c) vs Kane vs Batista in a Triple Threat for the World Heavyweight Championship - Actually an impressive match for the title. Khali was double teamed a lot from Kane and Batista. Watching the two of them then go at it then pretty much sealed the match as a good one. In the end Khali returns to the ring to choke bomb Kane for the win. Solid title defense from Khali.Match 9: John Cena (c) vs Bobby Lashley for the WWE Championship - Major main event at this big stage. Lashley got a lot of reception from the crowd. They really wanted him to take the belt from Cena for once and for all. John Cena also proved he can rise to the occasion on a given match like this. We got a lot more than we expected from these two this time. In the end Cena hits an FU from the top rope to retain. They then shake hands and everyone leaves the arena in a good mood.

With the Great American Bash one of my favorite events of the year, this was the greatest Bash ever, almost every match was entertaining, as this was a definitely a must see.FIRST MATCH- MVP {CHAMPION} VS. MATT HARDY FOR THE WWE UNITED STATES CHAMPIONSHIP The match started off slow, but picked up later on, these two are capable of great matches in the future. Also the right amount of time was given in this match. MVP wins and retains his title with his finishing move on Hardy, the Playmaker. 5/10SECOND MATCH- CHAVO GUERRERO {CHAMPION} VS. JAMIE NOBLE VS. FUNAKI VS. SHANNON MOORE VS. JIMMY WANG YANG IN A CRUISERWEIGHT BATTLE ROYAL FOR THE WWE CRUISERWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP I love Cruiserweight matches, and this is mostly the reason why, this match had all the high flying moves you would see in a Cruiserweight match, only seen on Friday Night. With all the Cruiserweights knocked down, Hornswoggle suddenly appears from under the ring, nails a Frog Splash from the top on Jamie to unbelievably win the Cruiserweight title. 6/10THIRD MATCH- CANDICE MICHELLE {CHAMPION} VS. MELINA FOR THE WWE WOMEN'S CHAMPIONSHIP Candice has really improved in the ring ever since winning the Women's title. Melina just keeps getting better, this was a really nice Women's match as finally the Divas are putting on classic contests instead of being noticed as eye candy. Candice retains her title after nailing a Standing Bulldog on Melina. 5/10FOURTH MATCH- UMAGA {CHAMPION} VS. JEFF HARDY FOR THE WWE INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPIONSHIP It started off with Umaga dominating the match, then Jeff Hardy fought back which brought the match to a great new level. Nice match here with a lot of crowd involvement. Jeff Hardy is really Championship material, and could be WWE Champion one day. Umaga nails Jeff with the Samoan Spike to retain his IC title. 6/10FIFTH MATCH- JOHN MORRISON {CHAMPION} VS. CM PUNK FOR THE ECW CHAMPIONSHIP These two by now know each other's moves and arsenals in the ring. They get better and better each time they are in the ring and this match is no exception. John Morrison retains his ECW title after his Corkscrew Neckbreaker on CM Punk. 5/10SIXTH MATCH- RANDY ORTON VS. DUSTY RHODES IN A Texas BULLROPE MATCH Some might say that this match was boring, or Dusty Rhodes is too old and should not wrestle again. Well this match did have that feel to it as it was a normal Texas Bullrope match which you would expect. Dusty Rhodes despite his age, still has something left in the tank, but it doesn't matter as Orton nails Rhodes with the cowbell on the head to win the match. After the match, Orton goes to beat up Dusty Rhodes, but his son Cody Rhodes comes in for the save, making Randy leave the ring in the process. 4/10SEVENTH MATCH- GREAT KHALI {CHAMPION} VS. BATISTA VS. KANE IN A TRIPLE-THREAT MATCH FOR THE WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP It takes Batista & Kane to put Khali in a good match, seriously Great Khali just cannot wrestle, if Kane was not in this match, this would be a train wreck. Batista is not that far behind Khali. Khali nails Kane with his Chokebomb for the win to retain his World Title. 5/10EIGHT MATCH- JOHN CENA {CHAMPION} VS. BOBBY LASHLEY FOR THE WWE CHAMPIONSHIP This is practically a dream match, and what a better way for it to happen at the Great American Bash. This was a hats down contender for Match Of The Year. Kudos to Cena and Lashley, as they gave it all in this amazing contest, good job Cena and good job Lashley. Lashley will become WWE Champion one day, that's for sure. Cena nails the FU from the top to get the pin on Lashley to retain his WWE title. 6/10This was the greatest Great American Bash ever, as all of them are. Watching this amazing event makes one thing for sure, Smackdown is the Flagship of WWE and will be for the long time. Good job Smackdown and Kudos to WWE.Overall I'll give it 9/10 & a A

The Great American Bash Of 2007 Was Not Good. The Match's Seem Shorter And 2 Match's Were Just Jokes. John Vs Bobby Was A Great Match They Both Gave There Hearts In To It And I'm Happy That John Won But I Don't Think The Same About Bobby No More I Use To Hate Him Before This Then See The Way He Gave His Heart In To This Match I Do Think Hes A Good Wrester Now And Before I Did Not Think. The Great Khali Vs Kane Vs Batista Was Stupid The Great Is Not A Good Wrester He Should Not Be A Wrester Hes Just Big And The Would Wrestling Entertainment Made A Mistake My Making Him The Champ. Matt Hardy Vs MVP Was A Good Match What I'm Mad That Hardy Lost. Randy Orton Vs Dusty Rhodes Was Stupid And Plan Dusty Rhodes Can Not Wrester No More Hes To Told And Fat. And The Horns Match Was Stupid And Plan. And Jeff Hardy Vs Umaga Was A Good Match But I'm Bad That Jeff Hardy Lost. John Morrison Vs CM PUNK Was Not Very Good. And Thats What I Think About The Great American Bash Of 2007.
