The wait for this highly entertaining comedy masala flick is finally over. And does the film live up to the hype and expectations it created? You bet, it does; Singh Is Kinng has all the ingredients which make it a great entertainer: generous dose of laughter; drama; emotions and of course two hot heroines. All these will surely keep you glued to the silver screen. The medium paced film starts off the usual way. Our hero, Happy Singh (Akshay Kumar) is a simpleton who wants to help people but somehow ends up creating problems than helping. His attempts to help which turn into disasters are portrayed in a sublime manner which will leave you laughing out of your seat. The people of the village get frustrated with his antics and ask him to leave. Left with no alternative Happy and his best friend Rangeela (Om Puri) set out on an aimless sojourn.

This movie does not live up to the expectations it created in its trailer and promos. The gestapo like performance at the film-fare awards promised me a great adventure, but hell no: it's just a zero level cheesy love story with lame songs about a rebound guy. That's a guy who appears and introduce himself as a friend of a couple, but actually he's after the girl. During the movie I was begging for merci, because of the repeated sympathy of the other key players for Singh which came really as a torture. Almost everybody was busy trying to make Singh happy, at the cost of everything, even someone's fiancée.Throughout the whole movie Singh is crying about Khaiff and her fiancé who aren't happy together and on the other side a gangster crew is crying and feels sorry for Singh who also isn't happy because he is single. Finally her fiancé delivers Khaiff into Akshay's arms and guess what: Singh is happy, he's the King. Movie title explained. Very creative man! Unbelievable that this movie turns Akshay into a superstar and triggers him to earn millions of dollars. This movie should definitely not be screened outside India, it's very bad PR for Bollywood.

What is wrong with Akshay Kumar? He himself said on NDTV that he likes doing senseless films but his films are now loosing on quality, story and everything A Day will come people will stop laughing at his jokes how they did to Govinda As a star Akshay is become a King truly, Today he is like Amitabh whose presence uplifted bad films like MARD As an actor, Akshay Kumar too is brilliant Strangely he was horrible a decade back and today he is become a pleasure to distributors, audiencesThe film is typical type, illogical and a typical Bollywood film There are some few scenes which are good and the ensemble cast of Manoj Pahwa, Yashpal Sharma do make for some good scenes But there is no proper story in the film, some funny scenes, some romantic scenes and thats itThe climax is bizarre and falls flatAnees Bazmee leaves no mark Music is good especially Talli Hua and Singh is Kinng both versionsAkshay Kumar is the soul of the film, remove him from the film and the film wouldn't have been even watchable, He is a natural But he should get off such roles now Katrina does her repeat act Sonu Sood is okay Manoj Pahwa, Yashpal Sharma stand out while Sudhanshu is good Om Puri is funny, Kirron Kher is alright, doesn't overact like she did in OM SHANTI OM Ranvir Shorey and Jaaved Jaffrey are wasted

This movie adds to one more count of cheap comedy movies.Though Akshay is such a great actor...he has disappointed by acting in such a movie... Its just a boring, unrealistic, unbelievably crap film with cheap and repetitive comedy. It starts with a flying encounter of Sonu Soodh, which is worse than Shoot 'Em 'Up action. Emotional Dialogues reminds me of 1980's. Nothing great about the movie, just waste of time and money.Better watch the film when it releases on television rather than spending money in the cinemas
