It is possible these persons created IMDb accounts just to post a negative review about this film but its highly unlikely. People in general are lazy and if one were willing to create an account on IMDb just to write a negative review you can bet it would be a very heated and emotionally filled review; these are not.The first negative review by user "riromero" is well worded and grammatically correct however it consist of many logical fallacies. A logical fallacy is a stance, argument or statement that is in error and usually done intentionally even if the writer is not aware they are committing a fallacy. In this users case they make reference to TITLE 26 as if it is the law of the land and then uses it as the bases for why other points in the film are incorrect.This user also makes great effort to paint the Federal Reserve as something other then what it is; most likely to avoid having to admit that Russo is right about the Federal Reserve. When this review was done by the user "riromero" the economic crisis of 2008 had not yet come to pass and so the focus on the Federal Reserves actions had yet to happen and so most of the American public did not yet know that the Federal Reserve IS a privately owned bank and not a part of the elected government nor its bureaucracy .Now that the recent audit of the Fed by the government lead by Texas senator Ron Paul has taken place and details about the highly questionable acts by the Fed has been reveled the truths revealed by Russo's documentary are more relevant then ever before.Before you decide to skip on Russo's Freedom To Fascism please take some time to learn about what government has been doing that the media has mysteriously opted to not report on. A great movie. It will make you laugh, cry, get angry, and then want to drink a case of Blatz and smash an IRS agent over the head with an empty bottle.This movie is so important. It is no wonder I hadn't heard of it until a friend brought a copy by for me. "Big Brother" will want to stifle this one. That's why it's not on the evening newscasts, or radio, or internet.This movie could be the most important thing you will ever see. You it to yourself, and your children to see it, and share what this movie is about.

As a distrustful person, I've been digging for this information for years. Nobody believes that our government could do such things. With the access that Aaron Russo has obtained to high level officials, former executives of the IRS and former jurors in tax cases, along with court record and mainstream news, he paints a chilling picture of things to come, and things that have already happened which none of us noticed because we were too busy being entertained.Mr Russo has (on film) statements by many officials in our government regarding the state of our grand republic. In one interview, a tax attorney states that the word "voluntary" within the sixteenth amendment was a "euphamism"....for those who don't have access to a dictionary, that means it's a joke. The Supreme Court and its rulings are routinely rejected by judges of lower courts.Watch this movie start to finish. Follow the trail of documents, quotes and court records available through the internet. Prove that this is false without rhetoric. Use logic instead of emotion to prove your point. When you're convinced, tell everyone you know. Once you've informed everyone you know, make new friends and tell them too.

Aaron Russo takes on a very difficult task with this film and does it better than I think anyone else could have done it. The challenge with a documentary like this, is that there is so much information; so much history so many legal citations that go along with this subject matter it is very difficult to tell this story about the IRS and Federal Reserve System in two hours and at the same time give the audience enough information.Aaron does a great job creating enough interest and supporting documentation on the main points that it begs more questions that any person can go out and look up for themselves.The thing people have to realize about this film is that this is the first of its kind. Aaron has given America a tremendous gift with this documentary. A lesson in civics that should be shown in all schools and libraries across the country. It is something that people can go to for understanding.There have been thousands of people looking for the answers to the questions regarding the constitutionality of the income tax and federal reserve system and have gotten no answers from their government. Even though the film answers only a few main points like what is income? (a very important point that is highly misunderstood with American population) He hits the topics with broad strokes leaving it up to the viewer to get off their duff and take responsibility and do their own research.Even if you don't like the documentary style. This is a most important film and makes Faranhiet 9-11 look like a joke. Aaron touches on the issues that no one else wants to touch with a 10 foot pole and our elected representatives avoid like it's the plague. (Except for Congressman Ron Paul) GO OUT AND SEE THIS FILM.
