Trust me it is not bad as people are saying. i assume they just watch the horror movies for scary scenes and not the story. I can tell that some of them didn't even watch the previous parts. The story focuses on Elise,her ghost hunter friends and her past. It shows all the emotions that how she suffered in the past because of her ability and how she overcame her traumas. She stood up to help people who are going through these haunting experiences. I wanted to see more but i think we won't get more parts because of the last scene. In the end i recommend you to watch this movie only if you have watched the previous parts.

The first two movies of this series were great. The third was good but not as much as the previous two. This one failed to live up to the expectations. It's kind of sad because it started so well but the ending was bad and seemed too easy. This one had less intensity and focused more on jump scares. Some were good but others were cheap. The references to the first film were worthless. And the trailer was filled with deleted scenes. That was disappointing. Overall i'd say this movie was 50/50 good and bad. I'll give it 4 stars instead of 5 though because the ending was bad. In the previous films, the last 20 minutes or so are full of intensity and anticipation leading to good scares. The last 20 minutes of this movie were just weird and felt rushed.

Para mí la primera parte, fue una gran película de terror. Volvía a ver cine de terror bueno después de mucho tiempo. En esta se juntan varios géneros, lo cual le viene mal y tiene demasiados chistes sin gracia y sustos fáciles pero a pesar de eso al final vuelve a la esencia Insidious y se eleva.Si es cierto que los chistes que hacen los chicos son malos, que acabas un poco harto de ellos y eso lastra la película, pero cuando desaparecen la película sube.La mezcla de géneros la hace peor, por un momento piensas que ya no vas a ver una de miedo sino un thriller, pero la película vuelve a sus orígenes.Usa demasiados sustos fáciles, que no usaba la primera, pero al final vuelve a su origen y con ello sube si bien, no saben terminarla y sobra la penúltima secuencia.Los actores no están del todo bien. Después de la médium de Polstergeist, no puedo imaginar otra médium. Ellos me cansan. Pero la película hace el resto.Tiene una fotografía espectacular que te mete de lleno en la película, solo la fotografía ya da miedo. Crea un ambiente magnifico.La dirección no me gusta, después de Wan haciendo películas de miedo, ver a otro, no es lo mismo. El ritmo tiene altibajos, no sabe usar la cámara. Recurre a susto fácil, pero sí que al final remonta.Veremos cómo es la quinta parte, porque por supuesto la habrá For me the first part, it was a great horror movie. Greetings from Lithuania."Insidious: The Last Key" (2018) kinda wanted me to believe that this is the last movie in the series. I liked first two parts, but haven't seen the 3d one. They should go with something new if there will be any more movies in this universe, because this one felt tiresome. "The Last Key" isn't a bad movie for sure, but it isn't very good either. Story was familiar and kinda seen may times. It wasn't scary, but overall mood was pretty OK. Overall, "The Last Key" isn't the best horror movie out there at the moment - far from it. Its kinda boring one if you ask me, and i'm a horror movie fan. If you skip this one, you won't lose anything.
