God knows I wanted to LIKE this movie...but the fact is none of the characters are even likable. The male lead is pathetic and needy, the female lead is manipulative and abusive. He writes a script about what happens to him day to day obviously and his life is uninteresting. No one should have to put up with what his girlfriend subjected him to daily and no one should be so needy that they would endure it. Most of the picture I just kept my eyes closed because I couldn't stand to watch these people's lives. I like indie movies...they are usually quirky and left field humorous. I didn't find any humor in this movie and I doubt I would have spent five minutes with any of the characters. Sorry. I really hate when someone trashes a movie, but if this the BEST idea someone could come up with for cinema then I can understand the volume of POV movies and found footage.I was in a good mood when I watched this movie but when it was over I felt like I had eaten something bad.

I have been following this movie for a while now and was happy to get tickets and see it with a few friends. It's an independent film filled with funny jokes, heartfelt performances and big stars. I'm a big Duff fan, so I was happy to see more than just a cameo of her. She was in it a lot more than I thought she would be. Same goes for Charlie Sheen, he was in it a lot more than I thought too. Funny, cute moments. It's not like the most original or mind blowing film but it's good. The acting ranges from what you would expect cheesy typical to more real and natural. Sammy and the rebound girlfriend were my favorite characters in the film and I have never seen them before. Hilary was pretty good and natural in this movie too, much more than I had seen in the past. She was the prettiest too.The others like John and Sam are pretty typical cheese ball humor but overall it had a good balance for this kind of movie. The improv was pretty hilarious too!!

Funniest Moments: Dick jokes, Funny group of guy friends like the random black guy, Random Nudity, "so fresh"- ew, Charlie Sheen Winning, Newman, Hip Hop Granny, Awkward fight scene at the end. Best Overall Moments: Opening scene of the girlfriend on a bridge (thought this is how the whole movie would be) and it probably would have been a better movie if it kept this tone. Girlfriend leaving her lying boyfriend in the middle of the movie. Hilary Duff coming out of the red porche. Charlie Sheen and his hat. Josh Gad trying to keep it real throughout the whole movie. Most Memorable Characters: Kim Powers(Hilary Duff) ,Charlie Sheen, Tyson(random black guy friend), Ex-Husband (Johnny Messner), Fat/Gay friend Best Acting: Sammy(Kristen Ruhlin), Max(Aaron Yoo), Sam(Josh Gad), Gwen (Melonie Diaz)Best Plot (there's a lot): Wish we would have seen more of Sam and Sammy before they moved to LA. The Carly(Brit Morgan) role would have been good to see more of, i love True Blood. Sammy leaving him for NY and he should have gone after her, wish he would have been more of a hero going after and fighting for her. Wish we could have seen more of his new girlfriend (Melonie Diaz)/Gwen role. She's an amazing actress and wish that would have been a bigger story line. Also, the parents and family should have been there more or not at all. But I do love the Granny(Wedding Crashers and Wedding Singer lady). My opinion. Sure I'd tell peeps to see it.

This is just my opinion but after watching a screener of this movie, I found myself thoroughly enjoying it and I even laughed out loud a handful of times. I was skeptical at first about whether I wanted to give this type of movie 85 minutes of my life, now I'm glad I did. I can see why Charlie Sheen, Hilary Duff, and the other famous actors would do this movie. It's different and more sentimental than most of the movies they are frequently doing.I'd recommend this movie to most movie goers out there, but mainly for a high school or more youthful audience. They will get a kick out of the witty writing and comedy that Josh Gad provides.
