This is the story of 1970s African-American action legend Black Dynamite. The Man killed his brother, pumped heroin into local orphanages, and flooded the ghetto with adulterated malt liquor. Black Dynamite was the one hero willing to fight The Man all the way from the blood-soaked city streets to the hallowed halls of the Honky House.

Black Dynamite is the most fun I've had with a film in a very long time! A spoof made up of genius comedic writing and acting.Whilst some context is needed going into the film, once you understand the layers and the intentions you can find so many laughs in a short run-time. The film within a film adds even more comedy, a few technical errors on top of the already hilarious camera work. As well as the on the nose soundtrack.A very interesting style of comedy and film making, I recommend this one to anyone who wants a good laugh. I could definitely dig it.
Easily one of the most self aware movies ever made, "Black Dynamite" has every kind of funny available. Being both unintentional and intentionally hilarious, it's a wonderful homage to the Blaxploitation movies of the 1970's and the setup is delivered with all its wonderful inconsistencies and hilariously awful dialogue that would make a porno blush.Former CIA agent Black Dynamite (Michael Jai White), must avenge his brother's death while cleaning the streets of a new drug that is ravaging the community. Among his quest he's confronted by love interest Gloria (Salli Richardson), and a slew of figures from the criminal underworld. All of which culminates in a shocking revelation that goes all the way "to the top".Michael Jai White stars as the eponymous hero (He also helped write the script), and plays the part exceptionally. If you're looking for a serious cop drama, then the movie will just keep punishing you outright. As the situation rises, the plot gets more outlandish as everyone is in on the joke. The music by Adrian Younge is fantastic in echoing the feel of the genre, and the film proved so popular an animated series spawned from it. Final Verdict: Extremely faithful to the movies it parodies. In many cases it doesn't hold up for a feature length, but there's enough substance here that I hope they create a sequel with this level of respect. 8/10.
Black Dynamite (Michael Jai White)'s only brother Jimmy is killed. The Man is pushing new deadly drugs and suspected Jimmy to be an undercover cop. Black Dynamite is an ex-CIA agent still haunted by a little Chinese boy in Nam. He encounters many characters including Cream Corn (Tommy Davidson), Chicago Wind (Mykelti Williamson), and Tasty Freeze (Arsenio Hall). His police friend O'Leary confirms something that takes him all the way to Honky House. This is a loving spoof of the 70s blaxsploitation genre. There is good deadpan humor. While it is repetitive, it does hit the spot every once in awhile. Too many of the actors are trying to do the same black trope character. They need to have more differences. Black Dynamite needs some fun specific side kicks. The Greek talk is fun because the other guys get to participate. It has some good fun moments although I wish it has a few more different comedy bits.
Black Dynamite The difference between white sticks of dynamite and black sticks of dynamite is that the black ones are longer. But let's leave the racial penis jokes up to this comedy, shall we. When his brother is mysteriously killed, former CIA operative Black Dynamite (Michael Jai White) hits the streets for answers.Eventually, the trail leads to the government, and their plan to add a chemical to a new brand of malt liquor that will shrink the junk of every African-American man. But Black Dynamite and his crew (Tommy Davidson, Phil Morris, Byron Minns) are unprepared for the real perpetrator behind this cultural shriveling - a cross-dressing President Richard Nixon.Outlandish as it is hilarious, this salute to 1970s Kung Fu and blaxploitation movies pays homage to the much-maligned genres while lampooning both to a T.Besides, if US genital size decreases, America will no longer be a threat to China.Green Lightvidiotreviews.blogspot.ca
