Although Batman trusts the Justice League, he was always worried the day may come when one or more of them might turn, get blackmailed, or possibly just go insane and be a threat to the world (himself being no exception). Therefore, he created a special protocols for each team member that could be used to incapacitate them should that event ever arise.Vandal Savage (being one of the most intelligent villains) found a way to hack Batman's computer and weaponize these fail-safe protocols making them deadly to each team member. Recognizing that his own protocols are being used against his own team, it's a race against the clock to locate each team member, analyze what Savage did to each one, and find a way to disarm it before it's too late...My favorite part of this film was when Batman explained what he had done, he was asked how he could have done such a thing. His response -- "You mean none of you have thought of doing the same thing?" When his team implied that they would never imagine such a thing he said, "Then you're fools!"This was a very deep and intense film, and it's a must-see for DC fans or fans of superhero sci-fi in general.
This is a very awesome movie by Dwayne McDuffie which I believe was his last project before he passed away.RIP Dwayne McDuffie, you would never forget from fans who have watched Justice League, Justice League Unlimited, Teen Titans, Ben 10 Alien Force and Ben 10 Ultimate Alien. The voice acting was amazing I just find it weird that Tim Daly hasn't been asked to reprise his role as Superman in any DC project ever since this movie but he is really good but weird they didn't ask George Newbern to voice I guess he was busy with Superman VS. Elite.Kevin Conroy, Susan Eisenberg, Nathan Fillion, Michael Rosenbaum and Bumper Robinson were all good as their roles in this movie. Surprisingly Phil Morris improved as Vandal Savage from his performance in Justice League which I found too light. The rest of the voice actors except Metallo's were good. The story was good but I found it weird that most of the rouges of the Justice League were just primary villains like Metallo and Mirror Master. I would have to choose Joker or Ra Ul Ghoul, Lex Luthor, Darkseid or Brainiac, Sinisto or Atrocities, Areas or Hades, Professor Zoom, Savitar or Zoom and Despiro instead of those primary douche bags. The story and the animation were good as well.So overall fantastic movie if you are a fan of DCAU then you might love this movie.
Now when I pick up Justice League: Doom I didn't know if it was based off the TV series which I haven't seen so much of sadly. But I didn't let that stop me from enjoying this film. How could you not enjoy seeing your favorite DC heroes like Batman, Superman, Wonder-Woman, The Flash and others all joining forces into one film? The Plot centers around the Justice League as they soon face off against The Legion Of Doom lead by Vandal Savage. What is impressive about this film is the story that is better enjoy when you watch the film because there are a lot of plot twists and unexpected moments while you watch it. Also the characters are very well developedThe Animation for the film is very well done and impressive it's rare to find such high quality animation now of days attention to detail went into this film with good background and effects in the film are very well doneThe voice acting is superb and you can feel the performances from the cast they just deliver for the voice work as well they just gave some of the best work ever in a animation filmAnd the music being well done to tell the story of the filmJustice League: Doom is a thrill ride with tense action scenes and a character driven story that you really want to pay attention to it will leave you in aw If you are a fan of the Justice League do yourself a favor and watch this film.I give Justice League: Doom an 8 out of 10
Honestly, this is one of my favourite animation films. The twists and turns were well done. And the voices were from the original justice league (other than Superman which is Tim Daly in this, and I think George Newbern sounds like Superman would). Kevin Conroy is and always will be my favourite Batman voice. That also applies to Nathan Fillion as Hal Jordan and Susan Eisenberg as Wonder Woman. I guess it's just because I am a fan of the 2001 Justice League show although they didn't have Hal Jordan. Anyways, The plot was awesome and the suspense brings you in right at the beginning. I would recommend this for everyone who enjoys the Justice League characters together and even just each individual hero.
