There's action and there are some good laughs, so it's definitely an Action Comedy. Cruise does some great deadpan moments and it really makes his bit all the more fun. Cameron does the ditzy tomboy well and the double act works. Overall, good fun and entertaining.
A young woman gets mixed up with a disgraced spy who is trying to clear his name. Knight and Day is a film that benefits from Tom Cruise's charisma when on the same time it has some good dozes of humor and action. Cameron Diaz was also good at certain scenes and not so good at others, the special effects were decent although the green screen can be spotted in certain sequences threw out of the film. And despite some certain moments where it drags the movie is never a disappointment or a waste of time it's a good mix of action and laughs, James Mangold's direction is quite good and even Gal Gadot has a small cameo so i'm fine with the movie and it's problems it's not a flawless masterpiece but it ain't no garbage fire. (7.3/10)
We have already seen Tom cruise play a spy in a lot of movies and here again he does the same. If you want more of him as a spy then that is exactly what you are gonna get in this one. The movie is not bad and has good comedy, but it's not great either. It is something that you can describe as good enough and thats the only negative aspect that matters because we expect great things from him and his movie. We do not want some just good enough experiences.
