I have seen a lot of terrible movies but this movie by far was the worst one! I can't believe a company releases a terrible movie like that. I know you were trying to make a liberal BS propaganda but you created a Nazi movie! fantasizing about killing people just because of their beliefs and they think differently is so fascism! Writers of this movie are all sick! I'm so angry at this movie that I just joined IMDB to give this movie a bad review. I would call it Mein Kampf movie of American so-called liberals. calling themselves liberal but what they are is "new fascists" wishing everyone be just like them and think like them and have no tolerance for any other options
Well, I did not expect it to be this good, even after knowing it was praised by many. From the writer, director of 'World's Greatest Dad'. Another black comedy and this even better. About an ordinary middle aged divorcée who hates everything around him, but could not do anything about it. One day when he got fired from his job, followed by discovering he has a tumor, he thinks to put an end his life right away. But then decides to do cleanup the society before his time comes up. Hence begins the path of violence, later a young woman joins him and how long it all goes was briefed.Seems very familiar, but still worked so good. It's not your 'Bonnie and Clyde' or 'Pretty Poison'. In fact, you can drag as many titles as you can, but still it is quite simple and entertaining. Obviously predictable, including the main twist and several scenes, but the rhythm of the narration was great, keeps us hooked to it for the way it was filmed. It's not about the moral science. It is pretty much a confused or misunderstood situation based theme, especially the conclusion clears out that. So if you don't care anything about those things, particularly in a film, then it is for you.Unfamiliar faces, but they both in the lead were excellent. The same film with some popular stars would have made a better headline and collection. Not seen quite a nice B film like this in the recent time. I got what I wanted from a film. Especially for a small film like this its exemption in a few areas due to the tight budget, but this film did not have any trouble, just amazing. Yeah, a well made film, from writing to direction, performances, this is a decent hidden gem of its kind.7/10
Wonderful dark film about what was wrong with America, of course now even more poignant with "Grab the Pussy" Trump being the President. Excellent acting from both leads. Tara Lynne Barr hilarious and brilliant as the potty mouthed teen. After all why should you have to come from a broken home to be sick of the way life is ? Joel Murray is fantastic as the ordinary guy who has had enough. The way he has enough is portrayed so well by him. Just the way he looks and sighs is worth 10 minutes of hysterical over-reaction by some other actor. He also isn't a buffed-up hero type, he just has dreadful taste in clothes, the cardigan with the squirrels or deer on it (I think) had me laughing regardless of the plot. I especially like the way their relationship deepened throughout the film. I have watched this film several times and it just gets better every time. Spoiler: Even the end of the film was great - you actually felt uplifted at the end, knowing they were happy in what they had done.
Not bad, but felt too self congratulatory and pretentious at times and the characters become unlikeable towards half the movie.-The monologues from the main guy are pretentious -The girl becomes unberable towards the end. But the message is still great and the TV reality spoofs are hilariousThe movie could have been amazing for me if they just showed instead of giving the characters dialogue that is supposed to be so clever and sharp when it comes as just unneeded.I'm giving it 6.0 out of 10
