This movie is boRING (pun intended) and cheesy. The acting is okay and the story felt broken. The pacing is pathetic like try to be a slow burner again but fail. I did watch the Unrated Version and it still suck with camera zooming in face. I like some ideas they use but it doesn't save the film and you know what that first film have that this one doesn't? A heart, a heart that makes you want to watch it more. I consider it a guilty pleasure because one some parts that make you want to laugh and it's cheesy. This ia my review on The Ring twO (2005), it could of done better
OK, like I thought it would be with any sequel, this one is less good than the 1st movie. Th good things about it ( at least, what I found good) : 1. The story do continues from where it left in the first movie. As I saw the Ring last night, the Ring 2 was really natural in its line of story. 2. Good that they had the chance to work with the same kid and Rachel 3. The story of Samara girl is kinda explained further which is good, but then...I found it not so good that they did not explain the background story more. Also, I think the whole thing about coming into the house of your colleague from work and do feel like you're at your own was a bit ... unrealistic. Even more, that she did not do a single thing when he died! Also, the kid walks out of the hospital just like that and no one from there tries to find him?! I mean, there are several other minor things which were kinda off ... But, all in all, it is not that it makes this sequel less interesting and good. There were no suspense like there was in the original / first movie. That lowers the rating for this one ( I gave an eight for The Ring). It is not bad, but it is not as good as the first one for sure. So, I'm gonna go with rating five!
"The Ring Two" is the sequel of the horror movie The Ring and in this one we are six months after the incidents involving the previous one lethal videotape and now we have some evidence which make us believe that evil is not finish but it's hiding in the darkness for one more time.I did not like this movie as much as I liked the first one which I think that it was magnificent. The interpretations of this movie were not good, the plot and the mystery was not there, the suspense and terror also missed, and this movie called horror, no I do not think so. In my opinion "The Ring Two" was a barker and nothing more than this. Finally I have to say that if you have watched the first movie then just do not watch this one, you will not regret it.
Aidan (David Dorfman) and Rachel (Naomi Watts) have moved to a small town in Oregon. However the videotape seems to have followed them after Rachel finds another one of those strange deaths. Rachel takes the tape and burns it. Samara starts coming after Aidan, and Rachel must dig up the past to put it to rest. The great thing about this sequel is that the actors came back to finish the story off. It's interesting to go back to the source story. However the franchise can't surprise the audience any more. It was a nice fresh idea in the first movie, but the sequel can't shock us anymore. It's a good wrap up. I hope they don't keep dragging this out like other franchises.
