Martial Law
Martial Law is an American/Canadian crime drama that aired on CBS from 1998 to 2000, and was created by Carlton Cuse. The title character, Sammo Law, portrayed by Sammo Hung, was a Chinese law officer and martial arts expert who came to Los Angeles in search of a colleague and remains in the US.
The show was a surprise hit, making Hung the only East Asian headlining a prime-time network series in the United States. At the time, Hung was not fluent in English, and he reportedly recited some of his dialogue phonetically. In many scenes, Hung did not speak at all, making Martial Law perhaps the only US television series in history that featured so little dialogue from the lead character.
Brotherhood
A working-class Irish family rules a city built on loyalty and corruption. Dempsey and Makepeace
Dempsey and Makepeace is a British television crime drama made by London Weekend Television for ITV, created and produced by Ranald Graham. The leading roles were played by Michael Brandon and Glynis Barber, who later married each other on 18 November 1989.
The series combined elements of previous series such as the mis-matching of British and American crime-fighters from different classes as seen in The Persuaders! and the action of The Professionals.
Tarzan
From the day two decades ago that young John Clayton's parents died and left him alone in the African jungle, he was raised by apes and has emerged as the fearless Tarzan. Robins
Robins is a Swedish late-night talk show which premiered on SVT2 on August 23, 2006. The host is the young stand-up comedian Robin Paulsson from Malmö. The show's format is similar to that of other late-night shows, Robin makes jokes about recent news, shows sketches, and talks to a guest in the studio.
One of the most popular sketches in the show features Robin appearing as Swedish football player Zlatan Ibrahimović.
Running the Halls
Running the Halls is an American television sitcom that aired on NBC's TNBC Saturday morning lineup. The series was created by Steve Slavkin, being the first TNBC sitcom not to be executive produced by Peter Engel.
The show consisted of 13 episodes, which aired on from September 11, 1993 to December 4, 1993.
Comedy Connections
Comedy Connections was a BBC One documentary series produced by BBC Scotland that aired from 2003 to 2008. The show looked at the stories behind the production of some of Britain's comedy television programmes, showing how they tied in with the production of other comedy shows. The show featured interviews with some of the cast and crew of the subject programme, as well as footage from the series.
Comedy Connections mostly documented BBC comedies and sitcoms, although two programmes have been from ITV and two from Channel 4.
The first series consisted of six episodes, however the rest of the series consist of eight episodes each, the first two series were narrated by Julia Sawalha, however the rest of the series were narrated by Doon Mackichan.
Biatches
The animated series Biatches follows the adventures of Dana and Julia, two friends who wreak havoc on the lives of their teacher Ms. Klitnick, their fellow students, Dana's dad Govindas and Hot Hairy Croatian.
