One night, WAI is disturbed by some noises nearby and finds that her current living environment is getting worse. The next day she proposes to CK to reduce her salary with the condition that CK is willing to sacrifice his luxurious apartment to become staff dormitory.
WAI hits TIN. TIN is bleeding terribly. TIN lies that he is temporarily blinded. WAI feels very guilty and takes care of TIN.
WAI’s father, HAN MAN, has sent a parcel to WAI. WAI then finds out that her father has just got married with a young girl, YUEN YUAN. YUAN looks for WAI at her office returned from overseas. TIN gives YUAN the address of the luxurious apartment.
Mrs. CHU wants to sue YUAN. WAI persuades CHU to forgive YUAN. WAI even promises to arrange YUAN to apologize to her. CHU is ready to accept YUAN’s apology. Unexpectedly, YUAN has suddenly taken out a paint spray. TIN immediately stops her. WAI’s face is full of red paint in confusion.
NAM, TIN, WAI are gathering at the House Bar. By chance, they discover that SIN has traded in the microwave oven to House Bar. Just when they are gossiping, SIN shows up; yet, she is forced to give them an explanation instantly.
And she is surprised to learn that TIN spends most of his income to subsidize his girlfriend, MICHELLE, to study abroad.
Luckily, they recover the diamond ring at last. But lucky is by chance. WAI drops the ring into the drainage and loses it again. This time, it is not so easily to recover because the drainage is connected with the sewage pool. Hence, WAI orders TIN to dig it up at once.
Despite the failure, TIN still wants to disclose the conspiracy of HERMAN. On contrary, HERMAN captures him and ties him up with WAI instead. Nevertheless, HERMAN punishes them by forcing them to kiss each other. Fortunately, MICHELLE arrives on time and defeats HERMAN.
War of the Genders is a Hong Kong sitcom which aired on TVB Jade from 21 February to 7 July 2000. The series was produced by TVB with Tsui Chong-hong serving as the executive producer. An average of 3.1 million viewers watched the episode finale live, creating the highest rating average below the 2003 Charity Football Competition Real Madrid vs Hong Kong and tied with the 2005 Korean TV drama Dae Jang Geum and the 2008 TVB TV drama Moonlight Resonance.
