Synopsis
Simon Kasto is a Swedish actor. He was born and raised in Skövde, Västra Götalands län, Sweden, on April 15, 1988, to Siam (Budak) Kasto, a career woman, and Kamil Kasto, an entrepreneur. He is of Swedish and Syrian descent. Simon was discovered in 2012 by a former supermodel and told to join a theater school action directed at film acting technique. Simon began soon after studying film acting technique at Calle Flygare Theater School in Stockholm. He began his professional career by appearing in Swedish short films and television series, and first gained recognition in Northern Europe for his role as David in the romantic comedy drama Sommar och en jävla massa trubbel (2016).
