Neighbor Chikara
Nakagoshi Chikara is married and has two children. His family lives together at a complex in Tokyo. He introduces himself as a novelist, but he is actually a ghost writer and writes essays for famous people. He is usually busy with his writing and doing house chores, but, when he sees people who need help, he can't ignore them. He approaches those people and asks them if they are doing okay and if they have a problem.
Doctor White
A collapsed woman, wearing white clothes, is found at a park in the early morning hours. The woman introduces herself as Byakuya. Except for her name, she doesn't remember anything else about herself. She doesn't know general stuff either, but she holds extensive medical knowledge and has a genius-like diagnostic ability. The Greatest Gift of Life
Sasai Ryosuke (Terao Akira), a translator who used to be a university lecturer, stays in a small Western-style house that stands at the back of Kishimojindo Temple in Tokyo’s Toshima ward. He has been living alone ever since his wife passed away. Ryosuke has one daughter Yuriko (Ishihara Satomi). On Christmas Eve, a TV broadcasting station receives a phone call. The caller warns "I have set up a bomb at Ebisu in Tokyo." A contract worker for the TV broadcasting station and a housewife are accused by the Ebisu police as being the culprits. During this chaotic situation, a mysterious man silently watches as everything unfolds. A video clip is then uploaded to an online video website. The video contains a demand to talk with the Prime Minister during a live broadcast or a bomb will be detonated at 6 pm in Shibuya, Tokyo. Who is behind the bombings and who will stop them?
