Vasili Lanovoy (born 16 January 1934) is a Soviet and Russian film and stage actor. Awarded the title of People's Artist of the USSR in 1985. Best known for World War II-themed films (Officers, Seventeen Moments of Spring) and period pieces such as War and Peace and Anna Karenina.
