Synopsis
Suzzanna Martha Frederika van Osch (13 October 1942 – 15 October 2008), better known as Suzzanna, was an Indonesian actress of Indo descent. Known as the "horror queen of Indonesian cinema", she is well known in particular in Indonesia for portraying spirits, witches, and other supernatural beings.
Acting
White Crocodile Queen
There's gore from weapon attacks, gore from crocodile attacks, goofy humor, lots of rubber crocodiles, a guy gets pissed on, a woman gives birth to a crocodile, strange dance/music video that's surprisingly good, a child is plowed over by a motorbike and hell, there's even a glimpse of some boobies. This is fine Indonesian exploit craziness
The Hungry Snake Woman
The Snake Queen returns in this bizarre horror fantasy. In this sequel to "Nyi Blorong" (1982 aka "The Snake Queen") Brian, a man who believes that money and power will win over the love of his girlfriend. While fleeing through the woods (after attempting rape his now-ex-girlfriend) he stumbles upon the Snake Queen who promises him great wealth if he does her bidding.
Calong Arang the Powerful Queen
The evil witch Calon Arang uses black magic and strikes fear in the population in Bali during the 1000's. Her daughter Manggali, who can not find a man because everyone is afraid of her mother, instead of being nice to people and use their magic for good purposes.
Samson Dan Delilah
Gory indonesian version of "Samson & Dalilah", starring Suzanna, the indonesian scream queen and directed by Sisworo Gautama Putra (the psycho who made Jaka Sembung, among others). In fact, this works like a rip off of Jaka Sembung but with Samson instead of Jaka. Gore and cheesyness for everybody!!!
Ghost with Hole
An honest woman falls for a model agency scam, and is then brutally murdered by mindless thugs. She rises from the crypt as a Sundel Bolong (a mythological Indonesian revenge ghost) to exact vengeance in very gruesome and interesting ways. Can anyone stop her? …or at least give this poor soul some peace? Starring film icon, Suzzanna, this pic explodes off the screen like a rocket-powered comic book. It’s got it all, dark and moody atmosphere, a haunting score (infused with some synthpop disco numbers), gory ghostly killings, and some truly inventive cinematography.
