If one is looking for an example how a completely nonsensical execution can ruin an exciting plot considering the viewers all brainless creatures sitting in the theater, then MR. X would be the perfect film to be quoted even ahead of the recent dud ROY. But in case the statement doesn't deliver the message clearly then supporting it further, MR. X is just another lazily made, outrageously silly project coming from the Bhatt camp, who once used to make CINEMA but are now only interested in doing BUSINESS with lackluster, poor films being regularly offered as products just like soaps or detergents sold in the general supermarket. For friends who still are willing to read the review, it's a typical Bhatt camp formula movie beginning with a clichéd sequence making no impression whatsoever in its first 40 minutes despite the love songs and infamous 'Hashmi kisses' as always. It has a weird casting choice wherein the young, well-built Arunoday Singh is presented as a middle aged, grey haired, hamming chief of police force who suddenly turns into the baddie in the very next scene. And then despite having all deliberately added bedroom and pool sequences there is zero chemistry to be found between the sleep walking Emraan and the beautiful Amyra, who looked much better in her first film ISSAK. At times beginning of few songs in the background turn out to be surprisingly funny instead of emotional. Plus when the game of invisibility begins then the explanations given, graphics used and the way Emraan goes on and off at his own will without any kind of engaging logic given, simply makes you go ROFL in the new-age net language, meaning 'Rolling on floor laughing" Inspired from many entertaining films made on the similar concepts in the past (both in English and Hindi), it would be in fact insulting naming a few in this review to be straight. But ignoring any such 'creative crime' committed, the makers even dare to end their film with an open climax hinting towards a sequel raising a valid question that, 'How dumb they actually assume their viewers to be?"With no justification of why the film was made in 3D, MR. X neither has any of those good trademark love songs in a Bhatt camp film nor it has some enjoyable graphics that ought to be the backbone of a project revolving around 'The Invisible Man'. Completing the circle, repeating both the title & the subject used by Nanabhai Bhatt (in his 1957) directed film MR. X featuring Ashok Kumar in the lead role, the present version falls way short of even that black and white film made more than half a century back in terms of entertainment. In short, the experience of watching MR. X is exactly like watching a POGO channel comedy serial made for the kids that even the kids would surely reject as non-entertaining. Interestingly the film also features the now famous comedian Tanmay Bhat (of AIB fame) and it would be great to see how he presents a spoof on his own film in one of the next episodes of AIB.However ending on a serious note (as mentioned earlier in one of my reviews), films like MR.X are actually 'feeder movies', that these multiplexes desperately need to display every week as 'new releases' in order to keep them running. In reality, these are the projects made in between 'the major' ones to keep the business going, otherwise how will the multiplexes earn if there would be only one or two movies releasing in one month? In fact that will totally crush their 'weekend business strategy' highly dependent upon new releases alone, coming every week irrespective of their content or quality.Hence it doesn't matter whether they are enjoying or not the process of writing and making these films, the production houses are bound to keep supplying such kind of hurriedly made business products to the multiplexes in the name of cinema. And the plan will keep on working till 'the consumer or the viewer' wakes up from his sleep in the coming future. So the slogan is "Jaago Grahak Jaago" and stop playing in the hands of this silly 'weekend business model' of the entertainment world at the earliest.

Movie started with very illogical concept of invisibility, and than and just in the first murder of invisible man, he caught by the girl when she smells him. His miracle power doesn't helped him in only 1 scene. What nonsense there was. Invisible man can be visible in sun light and all the scenes were day light, no suspense. Role of the girl was very very over and her acting was just scrap. The most awful things were, there was no logic of bike scene. When he escaped from the jeep, he can easily hide in shadow, than he get a bike and started running. Here you discuss all the scenes and all were disgusting and very impractical.Ovelall imran was good but the story of movie, role of girl and her acting was awful.

Don't jump out of your skin to find a reptilian like guy hitting on a pretty girl and wins her heart instead of experiencing a brief history of pain from the back of her hand. Yes! We are talking about Emraan Hashmi !!!Save your face-palm act for later as we have numerous such examples in bollywood and what's more disappointing is that they never give up. Such movies extend the credibility gap by portraying those girls as willfully offering to indulge in carnal acts with such atrocities. Majority would question that if it were some kind of legal Euthanasia? Even you may want to slit your own throat before watching such ugly duckling get lucky again, but believe me that is his USP (Even you might have secretly wished to switch roles with him).Storyline: Raghu(Emraan Hashmi) a short stature cop from Mumbai police was assigned to protect the CM. He proved himself worthy of it by successfully terminating a terrorist who had hijacked a roadways bus, while leaving the tough job of diffusing the bomb to the girl. Thereafter, Raghu fell into the trap of his ambitious senior(Arunoday Singh) who sets him up to kill the CM. Hah! child's play! Raghu does the job in a jiffy. Now to ensure a clean job the senior(Arunoday Singh) had to wipe out the loose ends by killing E.H. restoring the law and order back. (You must have seen this part in -Phir bhi Dil hai Hindustani)What I like about Mahesh Bhatt is how easily he slaps on the face of any logic one could ever come across. His new anti-radiation drug could make anybody disappear by its mere ingestion. Moreover such scientific breakthrough drug was being tested in a roadside company with practically no security at all. Yeah, burn those obsolete schoolbooks and join Bhatt classes on IIN instead; his daughter had already topped IIM's in "two states" and I am sure most of us have seen that flick too. The experimental drug was carelessly tossed in a beverage refrigerator of that company and was in easy access to any Tom, Dick or Harry. The Doctor easily transported it out of the company and was pretty confident while delivering it to Raghu, maybe she also wanted him to give up the ghost. One can assess her level of confidence when she explained that the drug was not tested even on lab mice. But much to her dismay the lecher disappeared immediately after its consumption as a side effect to that drug. F***ing nemesis !!! He could only be seen under UV radiation now..Wow ! How ? Bravo Bhatts ...I wanna kick you butts . But on the other hand this discovery solves the riddle of invisible audiences who are occupying most of the seats for this Movie. Verdict: (Vanished) /10

Raghu (emraan) works with the ATS along with his fiancée Siya (amyra). He is assigned an operation to protect the Chief Minister by his superior Bharadwaj (arunoday singh) but later Raghu discovers he is being used. But with Siya's life under threat, Raghu shoots the minister in front of all. Bharadwaj and his men thrash Raghu to death but he doesn't die. His friend Popo (tanmay) takes Raghu to his scientist sister and she gives him a magic potion. With this, Raghu becomes invisible and is seen only in Sunlight and Ultraviolet light. What happens from there forms the rest of the story. The director has come up with a sci-fi storyline and while the presentation was nice, the narrative was okay but clichéd. The dialogues were alright, but cheesy. The script was predictable and the screenplay was formulaic but average. The background score was nice and were songs were hummable. Cinematography and graphics was the main strength to this film. Editing was required in the second half film began to drag to a bit. Costumes were well designed and stylish while the art department was appealing. Emraan Hashmi restrained but good . Amyra Dastur was cute and pretty. Arunoday Singh was good in a different role .Mr X had a certain amount of expectation of being a very different grand film but Vikram Bhatt adheres to a formulaic clichéd revenge drama, where he impresses though is in the VFX and 3D department, and the effects do hold your attention. The first half is okay and the main crux unfolds here, the interval bang was alright. The second half is predictable but entertaining till the clichéd climax. Overall, Mr X is downright illogical and clichéd/ predictable at times, but its time pass masala entertainment. The effects are worth watching and if one can leave there brains at home, this film can be enjoyable for a full family audience, as there still many things to enjoy in Mr X.3/5* or 6/10
