watched BOSS ..I don't know what'sup with Bollywood these days..that every next actor here wants to be Chuck Norris & Rajnikanth or maybe even one step ahead of em...every week we have a movie like this which defies every logic n intelligence of common viewer..this flick is one of them....NOW this 2hours+30minuts long film actually starts after 40mins of its beginning..before that its mainly just intro of the characters(I find that useless & underused)..after that the journey of preposterously predictable plot proceeds...throughout the film actors throw up their self parsing dialogues in fake Haryanvi accent(sounds dull)..the movie is also a combo of useless songs which obviously makes it long(Holy-Cow I rhymed!)..talented cast remains unused cause of it & in the end its climax is so BAKVAS that it doesn't left any AAS(hope) for it....ONLY good thing about this film is Ronit Roy he did a tremendous job(as per the first time villain) STILL I say _YOU SHOULD NOT WATCH_

Actually when it is being considered about the Movie it is actually quite good & beyond my expectation. Anthony D'souza has done a horrible job in Blue (2009) but in Boss (2013) we see some good evolvements. I expected something cheesy acting like Khiladi 786 through this movie also. Actually Boss is better than Khiladi 786. I am a Martial Artist & Learnt many Martial Arts In fact I would like to depict the fact that Akshay is the reason that I learnt Martial Arts. He is such a passionate Actor. When it is considered about the Bollywood Film Industry of 90s there are only 2 Action Actors, who has got Actions worth watching those are Sunil Shetty & Akshay Kumar. While considering about the Sunil Shetty's State I can clearly emphasize the fact that Akshay is in a good state overally. When it is considered about this movie Akki's action is in good state but fighting has got some cable sequences which makes really boring to watch the actions. Actually Akshay has performed some decent sidekicks, Flying Kick & some decent Turn Crescent Kicks within the movie. Akshay is back in to action he looks seriously nice in this movie, but although he tries to gain his position as the action king in India he is not the king of action in India anymore now because Bollywood has got Vidyuth Jamwal who is a way much great martial artist than Akki. Now as well Ran Charan has also entered to Hindi cinema with Zanjeer. At least it would be better if Akshay can perform the action sequence without cable like he used to do in the past. So in the future we would be able to see some great competition for the Action Movies between these actors in Bollywood Especially I really appreciate the acting of Mithun he has done a marvelous job within this movie. Shiv Pandit acting is not bad. Ronit Roy's acting is awesome he is really doing a great job as the villain but it can be described that there is a certain lack of main Heroine in this movie. When it is considered about the story there is a simple story (Like a movie in the 90s). But it is better if they could add some more interesting moments for the movie (because after all it is 2013 not 90s anymore). Music is not bad, got awesome energetic theme music & got good dialogues (not the best but OK) Overally it is watchable. If you are a fan of Akshay you will like it. I would like to give 7 out of 10. If you are wondering whether to watch this one or not, go ahead make your move Watch it.

Boss is strictly a routine action+comedy flick which we have seen a thousand times in Hindi Cinema.... Anthony D'souza from horrible Blue(2009) to Boss(2013) has not evolved that much, Of course it is better than Blue but not very good...Boss is a story a boy who is hated by his father for his bad anger and it lead him to become a criminal and after all the melodrama about the hero and a villain...Story'Screenplay and Dialogues : Story by Farhad- Sajid is nothing to cheer about. Its the old routine drama we have seen. The Screenplay is rather engaging accept the unnecessary flashback scenes. It binds the audience well . Dialogue are also routine, sometimes out of the box like repeating" Apne ko sirf Paani nikalna hai" is irritating after sometime...Performances: Akshay Kumar is very good in emotional scenes. He emotes really well. But overall he is just okay.Ronit Roy is just exceptional as Ayushmann Thakur. He delivers a tremendous performance once again. But I felt maybe he should have a more scene presence. Shiv Pandit is just wasted. We have seen him in Shaitan and he was very good. But wasted totally here. Aditi Rao Hydari has nothing to do. She is Bad in everything she has done. Mithun Chakraborty has done a good work. He is a great actor and has shown his maturity. Danny is Okay.. Aakash Dabhade as Minister's son Vishal is very good Direction: Anthony D'souza has done a horrible movie before that was Blue. With Respect to Blue he has done a good job. But overall he is just a mediocre director. Overall, If u r a Akshay fan you can go for it . If u r not still you can go for it but at your own risk...!!!

Most of the attempted slapstick comedy notes in "Boss" fall flat. Yet the underlying dramatic storyline proves surprisingly satisfying, and lead actor Akshay Kumar's sheer joyous athleticism keep his latest film worth a watch. My personal highlight of the film?A roughly five-minute chase sequence where our unarmed title character leads a whole army of pursuing thugs on a merry chase up, over, and through a claustrophobic old-town: the wit and panache with which Mr Kumar 'free runs' and bounds – with a smile and a laugh – are simply a delight to witness.Several particularly well-staged fight sequences remind us that, even at 46, Akshay Kumar's real martial arts prowess has no equal in Bollywood.Other plus points:• Danny Denzongpa (who has always been one of India's most under-rated actors, in my opinion) as 'Big Boss', the title character's adoptive father – such a pleasure to see him in a more positive role, where he shines!• the storyline between the title character and his real and adoptive fathers• excellent fight choreography, throughout• song "Hum Na Tode" immediately after the interval, Mr Kumar's best dance and even a brief cameo by Prabhu Deva – easily the best song of the filmNegative points:• poor writing – especially, poor character development of the supporting characters• one-dimensional villain (though ably played by Ronit Roy)• Sonakshi Sinha's cameo appearance in two songs – just plain fat, embarrassingly so for a film heroine (and the costume designer for "Party All Night" should be shot at dawn!)• the (literally) sniffling idiot• background score – inexplicably loud and actively intrusive at poorly picked moments, such as the climactic duel between Mr Kumar and Mr RoyOn the whole, not by any means a 'great' movie. But enjoy for Mr Kumar's performance in top form.
