When I ordered WWE No Mercy, I was expecting a good show. To tell you the truth, I was mildly disappointed. Anyways, I will recap the matches on a scale of 1 to 5 stars (*****).1.Six person mixed tag team match: L.O.D and Christy Hemme vs. MNM: OK match, kind of slow paced but the finish was good, with Christy hitting the Doomsday Device. L.O.D and Christy win it. ** 2. Bobby Lashley vs.Simon Dean: Boring slow paced match. Lashley comes out on top in this one, even though he missed the finishing spot on his first attempt. *3.Fatal 4 way match for the United States championship: Chris Benoit (champion) vs. Booker T vs. Christian vs. Orlando Jordan: Entertaining fast paced match up, probably the best of the night. Benoit retains by making Christian tap out. *** 1/2 4. Hardcore Holly vs. Ken Kennedy:Pretty boring match, even though i find Kennedy very funny. Ken Kennedywins it with his awesome finishing move. *1/2 5. Rey Mysterio vs. John "Bradshaw" Layfield: I was expecting better out of this one. Good bump though, when Mysterio hits the steps. JBL wins it with a clothesline from hell. ***6. Handicap Casket match: Undertaker vs. Randy and Bob Orton: Not bad considering Bob Orton shouldn't have even been it. It would of been a better match if it would of been just between 'Taker and Randy. Pretty good, nonetheless, even though the burning casket at the end was pretty lame. The Ortons take this one in a pretty decent match. ****7.Cruiserweight championship: Nunzio (chmapion) vs. Juventud: If only Vince would give the cruiser weights more time. Pretty short match. Juvi becomes the new champ. **8. World Heavyweight championship: Batista (champion) vs. Eddie Guerrero: OK match. Batista is showing improvement, but the match still lacked the emotion of a good main event. Batista retains with a vicious spine buster. ***Overall, this pay-per view could have been much better. Hopefully, the WWE can learn from this, and improve in the next pay-per views. ** 1/2

WWE started off 2005 with a great selection of PPV's. PPV's like Wrestlemania XX1 and One Night Stand were superb. However WWE is failing once more to bring us a decent PPV. This PPV is the last exciting PPV of 2005 so far.WWE No Mercy wasn't bad but it wasn't good either. Results from the PPV held before a crowd of just 7,000. O, before I do this may I suggest to WWE that they bring back Paul Heyman to the writers group.Animal and Heidenreich and Christy Hemme defeated MNM in a passable bout.Chris Benoit defeated Christian, Orlando Jordan and Booker T to retain the US title in an exciting match.Ken Kennedy defeated Hardcore Holly in a fair match. Let me get this right, Holly is a 17 year veteran and Kennedy has only a couple of years experience, Holly can't beat him? What sense does that make?!Bobby Lashley defeated Simon Dean.JBL defeated Rey Mysterio in a decent scrap.Juventud defeated Nunzio to win the Cruiserweight title in a nothing bout. The Orton's defeated The Undertaker in a rubbish casket match.Batista defeated Eddie Guerrero to retain the WWE Championship in a disappointing match.Overall Grade - C+
