You would have seen Hera Pheri, liked it a lot and then looked forward with happiness when you heard about Phir Hera Pheri. its only when you actually see the movie that you realize how bad it is.the comedy is too goofy and slapstick with nothing as hilarious as the original HP. the only funny dialogues are those that are repeated from the Hera Pheri. the worst thing is that the story line is a complete rip-off of "Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels". the story is absolutely the same except that it has been Indianised (with Bipasha basu providing the glamor) and goofy so-called comedy replacing the action from LS & TSB. The ending sequence is a cut-to-cut copy of the original English movie. the climax setting in the circus and the free-for-all fight sequences are meant only for those with an IQ less than 75.all in all, reminds us that even the original Hera Pheri was a rip-off of a Tamil movie released in the 90s.

i watched this movie last week and i would like to comment on it because the movie was really comedy and rib ticking stuff and i just fell down of my bed laughing badly on the last scenes .I didn't expect this much comedy which it was and i even didn't expect the verdict super-hit from the movie i thought it would be a stupid comedy like the ones these days but it was out of my expectations that the movie was one of my favorite Hindi comedy movies if you didn't watch this movie just watch it and you will be entertained by this great entertainer.but in the end there was a even a mystery which would rather be solved in pair Hera Peri part 3 laugh out loud

Thumps Up- Akshay and Paresh 's chemistry and performance, decent music, directions, shared Susana, johny lever and rajpal were funny in some parts, dialogs, climax was mad funny, and first was fast then second half went slow....Thumps down: bi pasha and rim mi sen were wasted, other supporting actors were also wasted.....overall super duper mega hit because of Akshay Kumar, parish's performance, dialogs and directions by niraj Vera......better then first 1 but niraj could've edit sum scene like circus.....lot of mess, twists, troubles and actors which made the film impossible to possible......film can be seen 100 times.....

Okay, so maybe something was lost on me not seeing the first movie 'Hera Pheri' for which they did this sequel, I dunno but this movie was mostly unfunny and just plain weird. Why in hell would anyone hire Diya Mirza to do an item number? She looked so horribly miscast as a seductive tramp and not to mention the fact that the playback singer's voice sounded too old to match her face. Note to Diya: Next time pass on offers like this. Rakhi Sawant will be commenting on you in her next press release and I am sorry to say, I would have to agree with her.Normally, I love the comedy of Akshaye Kumar and Paresh Rawal, Suniel Shetty on the other hand, I have to say that I've never seen his comedic work until this film (not unless you want to count his turn in Kyun Ho Gaya Na, which even I have to say wasn't funny at all). But even with the two afore mentioned funny men, I just have so many bones to pick, and with comedy, normally, you should just be able to sit back and laugh not scratch your head wondering why the last joke (and in this case many a joke) was not funny at all. The best thing to happen to this film is probably the combination of Bengali beauties; Rimii Sen and Bipasha Basu, who add spice and a much needed leading lady pizazz to the mix. Here's the premise as I understood it: Three friends (played by Paresh Rawal, Akshaye Kumar and Suniel Shetty) are living together in a mansion when one day, one of them (Kumar's character) gets a phone call (what we in the US would consider telemarketing, phone spam or a suspicious scheme call) from a woman (played by a very skinny and toned looking Bipasha Basu) claiming that her company can double investors money within 21 days. Raju (Kumar) doesn't even find this the tiniest bit suspicious as he gets dressed, without the knowledge of the other two and goes to the address the woman has given to meet with her. When he gets there, Anuradha (Basu) demands that he get 1 Crore (a Crore = a million) rupees and that she will come to his address to get it. Raju then foolishly runs homes and lures his friends into investing with him, and on the way also cons an innocent bystander into investing as well. Anuradha shows up the next day and collects the money and as you might have guessed it, when the 21 days are up, the guys go back to her "Laxmi CHIT (um, hello! it rhymes with CHEAT) Fund" office and it has turned into an abandoned building with Anuradha nowhere to be found. A distraught Raju then takes it upon himself to start selling everything the three guys own together, including their beautiful house which lands them in a dingy tenement and makes them neighbors with a lousy thieving co-tenant named Munna (played by Johnny Lever). As they pass their days living in the tenement, the guys try to come up with plot after plot to help them get out of their woes.Okay, that was the premise and now on to my beefs: 1. In a nearly 3 hour long comedy film, I can count off of one hand the funny scenes? That's just wrong! 2. The few funny scenes: {a} Baburao (Paresh Rawal) explaining over the phone why the fishes in the fishery died. "Half of them died from drowning, and the other half died of thirst!" ROTFLMFAO! {b} Raju conning Anjali(played by Rimii - as she was to be known now. She seems to have dropped her 'Sen' these days because she claims people always think she is a part of the Raima and Riya Sen sisters. Point taken Rimii, with their reputation, even I wouldn't want to be related to them) with the Thousand rupee bill. LMAO! {c} The three guys meet a mobster's son and complain that they can't hear what he's saying, then the mobster himself gets up and tries to explain why his son can't speak well, and he's even worse than his son. ROTFLMFAO squared! {d} Kukuruku! LMAO!{e} Paresh Rawal. ROTFLMFAO! 3. Have you ever noticed that whenever they have Bipasha Basu in a film, she will at one point dance like a tramp in a nightclub, but before the movie runs out, there will be a vindicating reason attached to her Trampiness? What gives?4. The bad guys are always stereotypically darker than the good guys, that's a given in Hindi flicks. But 'Phir Hera Pheri' tops all of that, they do the stereotypical thing then even hire a real Black guy to come and act the part of a savage beastly goon! Hmmm! 5. As if this movie is not enough of a circus already, they actually go to a real circus to shoot some scenes.6. Ten endings too many! 7. Too many plots! 8. Too many wasted and unnecessary characters!9. The dubbing of Bipasha Basu's voice! What gives? 10. The art of using bimbo looking White girls in Hindi film song and dance numbers has got to stop! This film especially goes overboard.11. The film lacks any good songs (just one passable one which featured Akshaye Kumar serenading Rimii) and the songs in this film showcased some of the worst choreography I've seen in years.
