The film is about the difficult situation in which the Pakistanis in particular and the Muslims in general are caught up since 9/11. There is a war going on between the Fundamentalists and the Liberal Muslims. This situation is creating a drift not only between the Western world and the Muslims, but also within the Muslims. The educated and modern Muslims are in a difficult situation because of their approach towards life and their western attire. They are criticized and harassed by the fundamentalists and on the other hand the Western world sees them as potential suspects of terrorism just because of their Muslim names.

I watched this movie for the sake of the fact that ShoMan directed this movie the director of Sonhere din, the best TV serial after Tanhiyaan, and i was not disappointed. Shaan is absolutely awesome with his acting skills which was given life by ShoMan i would recommend to him if he reads this,please get out of the Syed Noor world of Punjabi films because Punjabi Pakistani films are dead when we lost Sultan Rahi and enter this world of ShoMan because he has earned a lot of respect by this movie. Iman Ali and others were a great touch to this movie, they match to the theme of the plot and movie set-up. Still there is lot of work to be done in Pakistani movies but this is just the beginning. i believe we have not seen the last of ShoMan.
I saw first pakistani movie and it was good.The strong point of the film khuda ke liye was the story.Im not expected such a film made in Pakistan.Hats off to Shoaib Mansoor the director and writer of the film, he really make a good job.The film is telling real story of Pakistan.The weak point of the film was the acting except Naseeruddin Shah(Moulana Wali) and Shaan(Mansoor) all other actors were ordinary. I does not like the songs.I hope much like this more will be come from Pakistan 7/10
Muslims did not hate USA. Awesome Movie for Muslims and Non Muslims. Before watching this movie I thought its boring movie. But I was wrong because there is a lesson for Muslims and Non Muslims. Every Muslim is not a terrorist. People make the terrorist just like American govt. They catch the wrong people and beat them. Even that every citizen of America says that this is ridiculous. Muslims did not hate USA. Islam protects us to the evil. Every man has its own rights in any religion. Shan and other actors did work well. This film is not against American people but against American government policy and injustice. I am thankful to Shoaib Mansoor who took this great idea for Muslims and Non Muslims.
Unless this was a true story, the acting was okay at times. But, the beating of Mansoor was a little exaggerated. I mean as an American, I don't think our government went out of their way to persecute Pakistanis - seeing as 9/11 is known to have been Saudis, we are not that base. If its a true story please let me know, I would be ashamed to admit my nationality.However, aside from the falsified story. The acting was terrible, maybe many of the actors were just inexperienced or something. But except for the two main leads the acting was terrible. It was almost like the actress who played Mary was being told her lines as the movie was going on and on.P.S. I'm only rating this as a 1 because I hated it :).
