Emir Kusturica and the No Smoking Orchestra - Live is a Miracle in Buenos Aires
It is a live record of a show of this band in one of their first presentations in Argentina. All done with the ease and artistic self-confidence that the Serbian film director has. With that gypsy music of the Balkans plus some rock, they capture here with a lot of energy and humor an almost circus show. Recorded March 3, 2005 at the Luna Park Stadium in Buenos Aires.

I think the reviewers of this movie have been a little harsh. This is a film for the fans and the fans will love it! Arcade Fire have been such an inspirational band and as a tour documentary / live performance / studio film / abstract art-house movie that this is, it delivers on so many levels. Covering the majority of the Reflektor tour and recordings, this film gives us an insight into the thought process behind the songs, the various influences (musically and visually) and shows the album's Haitian roots. I'm really looking forward to seeing this movie again because visually it's beautiful and sonically it's an audible delight.
