Reviewing this film is like reviewing a song by Justin Bieber, I guess. Some people just love it and some people just hate it.I had no idea who is the boy in the leading role. Or that he is internet famous. I read that a few minutes ago in the Q/A section and some other things before I write this. So, that is why I understand the polarising tones to this.Personally, I enjoyed this film very much. Maybe because that was all I wanted this afternoon - to enjoy, to relay and let me being entertained. This film does exactly that! It is funny, entertaining, light and demands no thinking ... As for acting... I don't think the boy is bad or other members of the cast. It is what it is. I guess if you just want to spend pleasant 90 minutes, this film will do that. I must say I did not laugh a lot but must say that almost entire film was really kinda good mood one. Not bad at all as some ratings might suggest it. OK; we all have different tastes, but, this is not really that awful.I think it would have been better if there was a better soundtrack to the film. Though I am not sure there is any soundtrack to this at all.Eight from me.
The protagonist in Expelled is Felix O'neil. The Antagonist is principle Truman. Felix was a troublesome student at Eastwood high. He played many pranks of the cheerleaders and teachers. Principle Truman was fed up with the constant problems and decided to expel Felix. Felix is happy that he no longer has to go to school. But he has to keep the terrible news from his parents. Expelled is like a blackmail guide it's a kid trying to hide the fact he got expelled from school by stalling his parents by all means necessary. Awesomeness films produced the movie. The music was suspenseful during intense spy type moments, then peppy and chipper during Felix's teenage life. the movie was scripted with some vlog like sessions. The theme of the movie is lying makes everything worst just tell the truth. "Expelled" was outstanding The movie was full of suspenseful moments when you thought Felix O'Neil(Cameron Dallas) would get busted. The movie really shows how it life as a troublesome teens life plays out. The movie really gets teens who deal with the exciting life of high school. Being I'm 15 I really understand how high school puts pressure of good grade and performance on your head. As well as doing anything to make your parents happy.
You may be confused about the title. But it is actually a very accurate description of this movie because either love it or hate it, it is what it is, MARMITE.Here are the pros and cons about this movie PROS: Funny, but kinds of a mischievous funny, one that you can only be 9-11 to enjoy Sadly I'm over 11 and the comedy is just ridiculous at times. Some decent acting (excluding mentioned in the cons) Kind of funCONS : (See first pro) Some decent acting, but some just plain school play acting. They seemed to be having fun but it is meant to be work, in movies profit/enjoyment of viewers come first and for the profit part - This movie seems to be living off NETFLIX. I never saw it before in any local European cinemas, most likely because this is a cheap movie along with many other low profit movies on there. Scripting is unnatural, for example when there at the school and the horribly plaid main character and his later found girlfriend (who is a delivery girl) mentions that he orders a pizza in a specific day, then he says "Why?", umm maybe because he's hungry. But the writers made home say "let's illegally look through the mirror and catch him gambling so we can end this movie and get our 5$ cheque"So I rated this movie 5/10 Why? Because love it or hate it, It's marmite.
Im sorry but this movie was just downright awful. The acting sucked, Cameron should just stop acting because hes just terrible. The jokes were terrible. The only actually good actor in this movie was Matt Shivley. Awesomeness TV has produced some way better movies like "The Smosh Movie" but this just sucked. The story was just very dumb and un-original. I don't recommend seeing this movie at all, but Im so glad I didn't pay for it. I had very low expectations for this movie and they met them! Id hate to say it but Dragonball:Evolution was a better movie than this. So all in all this movie was horrible do not watch it. Id wrather watch db evolution 59 billion times over.
