The plot of this movie involves Lupin and his gang being in a submarine for twenty minutes, with little to no conflict. It's immensely boring. After this, the movie takes place on an evil guy's militarized headquarters in a jungle. The evil guy wants the submarine so he can fire nukes at people.Lupin, Jigen, Fujiko, and Goemon at the very least are treated decently in this. They act like their usual fun loving, money loving selves. One plus side in this very generic movie, is that the Lupin gang end up being nicer to each other than they often do. Fujiko is especially nice in this one, and of course she brings that sex appeal to the table, which helps. These classic characters are the best part of this story.Inspector Zenigata is a complete joke in this one, he gets no respect. He's been taken off the Lupin case, so he just gets drunk and depressed, and even hangs out with the Lupin gang. At one point he wears an apron and acts like the Lupin gang's butler. This is very out of character, and pretty much sacrilege, though I admit it's a bit amusing. The movie does have an enjoyable action climax though, and a nice ending. All in all, this is on the lower end of the Lupin spectrum. For me, it was worth sitting through for some fun moments between the Lupin gang. If you're not a Lupin completist, this one is very skippable.

After signaling a burglar alarm, Lupin and Jigen had to avoid the swarm of police cars. They hid themselves at an old building where they discovered that Zenigata was accompanied by the police who were ordered to let the Inspector handle it alone. Lupin & Jigen suspect that it was a trap. But it was no trap as Zenigata went towards them to announced that the ICPO has taken him off the "Lupin Case". In other words arresting Lupin is no longer his assignment. More sad and sympathetic than Zenigata was before. Lupin decides to help him out. As it be boring in not having "Pops" chasing him around.Later both Jigen and Lupin learned that Zenigata's new assignment is shutting down an arms merchant/war smuggling organization called "Shot Shell" which is well known in the Black Market. Which is what Lupin decided to do, by negotiating with this secret organization. Not only that but the replacement for the "Lupin Case" is an ex-mercenary named Keith Hayden, who's orders are to rub out Lupin and his comrades. Will Lupin successfully reprise Zenigata's role for Interpol, and will he have a winning chance in defeating Keith? I consider this Lupin TV movie to be higher level than the first 4. As the character designs, and animation style differ from the previous ones. Especially when Fujiko looks more sexy than she did in the earlier TV movies.Voyage to Danger is a highly recommended anime for those who appreciate Lupin the 3rd. It has Action, explosions, humor, weapons, bomb shells, Submarines, and some unexpected parts too.My rating is 8/10 just cause it's one my personal Lupin favorites.

The Dark Order of Assassination is the second Lupin III movie for me, and I must say after seeing Castle of Caglistroso it was disappointing (SPOILERS) Whats new: -more nudity, not really but big almost naked breasts are seen throughout the movie... -more violence, i.e. we see a guy getting shot in his face and a blood fountain comming out of the head.with the first thing i have no objection, and the second would normally not be so bad, but it just doesnt seem right for a Lupin movie. There are a lot of James Bond style Gadgets and they are fun. So whats disappointing? There are huge plot holes, some scenes dont make any sence at all. Two of the main charakters get killed, and Wohohooo they are back alife. The circumstances of their death and their way of escaping them is stupid. Especially the end just sucks: The there are 200 army dudes, and the bad boss walks to the armed heroes takes their weapons using his hands... later one hero steals his gun and kinda kidnaps him... well; caglistroso was great, and this one was fun at times but overall not so great. 4/10
