We don't know much about Varg's private life. Probably he was married, but now he lives alone, he doesn't go out and doesn't meet his friends. The only mammal elements in his life are Hamre, Isachsen and Anna. In "Fallen Angels" his old friends showed up. At the airport Varg bumps into Rebecca (Pia Tjelta) and Jakob (Per Kjerstad), with whom he broke off contacts before they got married. Back then they were like a pack and even had a band. The band still exists and Jakob is its leader. He asks Varg to follow Rebecca and check if she is having an affair. Although Varg stays away from marital issues, this time he breaks this rule. His investigation is linked to a serial killer. His victims are drugged, dressed into white dresses and hanged.I can complement the plot, I won't complain about Varg's private life and for the first time I feel sympathy towards Hamre.

This is the first movie I have seen in this series, and I was not sure what to expect. I was happy that they did not shy away from going into dark stories, but despite some of the things that you see on screen, it never really gets that tense. I thought that the plot was clever enough, and except some quite lazy reveals, the movie moved along nicely. The subplot about Veum and his old friend, and the relationship between the two, was not that interesting. It's important for the story that there is established something there, but except the one scene where the friend asks Veum if he wants to go drink a beer, there weren't really many good moments between them.As this is a movie well into the series, you might be expected to know the Veum character well enough so that the movie doesn't need to spend much time on it. This works okay, but he's quite bland.

Man , I don't know if it goes back to the Saga's and the stories of old but the Nordic countries sure know how to entertain. I saw " Headhunters" in the cinema today and was totally blown away by it, so much so that I would venture to say its the best movie I've seen this year. So I looked up the director and saw that he did this one too. This guy is one to watch and thats not maybe. Set in Bergen, this movie thoroughly kept me entertained and guessing to the final scenes. I don't want to go into the movie as such as I could spoil it for everyone but suffice to say you will not be wasting your time checking this out..... .... I am the Ghost of Leif Ericson and I bid you, god natt
