Seen this movie in 2013 and it is good I'm writing about it in 2015 because strong female leads are the thing now and there popping up so much it's gonna get to the point that it becomes annoying.But thats the Hollywood formula I guess and sadly for me the reason to skip a lot of blockbusters and hope that originality will be maintained by in depended movie makers still getting funding to do their thing.Almost felt like this movie was made for me and I loved every little cliché it broke.The actress may not be the prettiest out there but by the way she uses seduction becomes very desirable non the less.The way people rated this was extreme on both sides,so either very positive or very negative but it makes me wander if the negative reviews would change because of the situation we find ourselves now in(with strong female leads flooding the box-office)Some guy here stated that it would be different if you switched the story to a male lead but in all honesty (and thats my theory)a girl can seduce a guy easily, while it is way more difficult for a guy to seduce a girl.Even more honest I over rated this because I really feel the rating is way to low and should be at least a six for the production value alone.I think the biggest flaw for this is that they made it 3-D while there really ain't a need for that and it was not a movie for that format.The director was good on this because he let "Paz"shine and in another movie she played in(I forgot which one) she was just awful.Truthfully this was an 8 for me and I hope more people will see it after reading this review.I recommend it to any one who wants to see a different but ultimately great horror movie.Added bonus was to see Judd Nelson in a good role again.Enjoy the "bleep"out of this.

Abby Russell is a nurse of the All Saints Memorial Hospital and a serial-killer of unfaithful husbands after hours. When newly qualified nurse Danni is hired to work in the hospital, Abby is instantly drawn to Danni, but she has a boyfriend and does not suspect the intentions of her friend. Abby believes that if she kills Danni's stepfather, Dr. Larry Cook, she will get to live with her. But soon Danni suspects that Abby has murdered her stepfather and moves away from her. When the new HR manager arrives at the hospital, she is amazed at the resemblance of Abby with a woman named Sarah Price. Danni investigates Sarah and discloses dark secrets from the past of Abby.....Well this film clears the question that all feminists have been asking since the sixties, yes, all men are abhorrent, insufferable pieces of work......even in flashbacks. And the ones who are not completely disregarding women as pleasure things, are simply too idiotic for there own good.This complete waste of a film depicts almost every make character as some sort of sexual predator, and only one wooden actress can save the day. You can that the film has gone for the feel of eighties exploitation movies like Angel, Savage Streets, and Ms. 45, but whereas those films had a shocking, almost unwatchable narrative in places, this thinks that the added dimension and extra gore will make up for its shortcomings..........it only enhances them.So by day, the titular character stalks her work colleagues,who wear the most ridiculous nurses uniforms I've ever seen, and by night, goes out of her way to right the wrongs of adulterous men.It's terrible in every sense, acting is woeful, Nelson, Donovan, and Turner should be ashamed of themselves, and it's truly offensive to almost every culture, sexuality, or anything with a beating heart to be honest.Terrible, offensive poison.

Quite possibly the most poorly written female lead character of all time. I selected this movie hoping it would be similar to American Mary. Unlike the amazing depth of character given to Mary, this lead was a horrible noir wannabe ripped right out of a low budget video game and placed in a world amongst otherwise adequate actors and actresses. She just didn't fit and every word she said was frustrating because we were supposed to believe the other characters accepted it as normal, or worse, sexy. I couldn't decide if it was the acting of the actress that was terrible or if she was doing the best she could with what is by far the laziest dialog ever written. It's like the director's idea of a bad girl is a girl who talks slowly and whispers at all times for absolutely no reason. There were no elements of surprise in the entire film as the character was so one dimensional that you could guess exactly how she would react to a situation and be absolutely correct to the point where it was ridiculous. Her first world problems back story makes her hard to empathize with. One final thought, why did they choose that particular actress? The character is supposed to be this sexy freak that men lose their minds over but every shot of her face is cringe worthy. I normally wouldn't judge based on looks but her character is supposed to be irresistible and everything about her, from her pout face to her god awful whisper voice is just terrible.

Nurse is the tale of Abby Russell (Paz de la Huerta), a kind, caring nurse by day, but whose serious daddy issues surface during the night as she goes and hunts men who she sees as unfitting to live. A pretty basic plot for a decent slasher smut film. Nothing wrong with it. From that you can except lots of gore, lots of skin, lots of gorgeous women covered with blood.Except we get very little of any of those. The slasher stuff? Uninspired. I've seen more convincing death effects in slasher parodies. Sure, there are a couple good scenes near the end, but it lacks conviction. Like they were only going through the motions. The gorgeous women and the skin? Barely there. But that's what you get from making an R rated slasher smut film. Go all the way or go home. Stuff like this is just plain embarrassing.As a whole the film feels like its makers weren't really trying. Paz de la Huerta as the main actress seems to be having fun in most scenes, but she simply doesn't have to acting talent to convince us that she's really all that loco instead of just acting. You don't buy the character. The side characters are all either forgettable, clichéd, stereotypical or all of the above.Nurse is a smut film that tries to remain clean. And if that idea doesn't make you shiver in disgust, I don't know what will.
