It starts out with about 20-30 minutes of people riding on a train, which was pretty fascinating because they talk to each other, a bit like regular people on a regular train, but more boring because they're just reading a boring script.Then the train speeds up a bit, I guess. The passengers never seem very worried about it. They try to break into the engineer's compartment but give up in a few minutes. They don't try to pry the door open, they just bang on it and then give up.Then they try to uncouple their car, but again give up in a few minutes. There's a piece of metal covering the coupling that looks like two people could pull it up and bend it out of the way, but they never try. One guy goes outside, then gives up after a few minutes and comes back in - just in time! A tunnel!After that they sit around drinking and telling jokes while waiting for a special time to decouple the car: the special time is when they're going uphill, which would, in reality, make the train car harder to decouple.Then they try to blow up the coupling by putting a fire extinguisher over it, covering it with cloth, pouring a few ounces of booze on it and setting fire to it.Those few ounces of alcohol somehow set fire to the metal of the train and the metal continues to burn for the rest of the movie, finally rapidly spreading to the front of the train like gunpowder, for no apparent reason, then making the train engine explode while the one guy finally jumps off - right before the train stops.It was awful.

This truly was such an absolute pile of sewage I'm doubly mad that NetFlix has gone to a stupid Thumbs Up/Down only rating system. If a negative rating were possible I would give it that there. I had to come here to IMDb to give it 1 star and save you from the misery I experienced watching this. If you're someone who expects even some basic intelligence and logic in movie plots, and situations, do not even waste 96 seconds on this abject pile of incompetently mashed cheesy clichéd ploys to work overtime to make everyone look like a suspect. A decent cast was absolutely thrown into the toilet too. Don't throw away 96 minutes of your precious time. I hope calling the movie a septic waste moving train wreck gives an idea of the stinky sludge of a movie this was.

I was bought this as a fun gift from a pound shop and did not think it would be up to much but my wife and I thought we would give it a try one night. So pleased we did as its very enjoyable gripping drama, it had some great character build up at the start and from then the tension built to a good climax.I thought the camera angles was excellent (like a scene with someone battering a door and the camera followed each ram) and the effects were spot on without being to over the top.On the whole a really enjoyable movie with good acting its just a shame a movie like this is not as well received as some of the big Hollywood movies that are sometimes a huge let-down. I think this movie should have had more publicity when released as I had not heard of it before and its such a shame to not see a movie as good as this do better.

Thought it would be more action packed based on the poster, But it was mores suspenseful like Duel on a train or the Hitcher on a train.A weird story about an unknown villain who hijacks a train that still has 6 passengers on it as the train speeds its way to the last stop. These passengers have to figure out what's going on so they can get off.It's all about the tension of this moment. It unites them from strangers to allies it brings out their dark sides and shows what their made of.Very different from what was expected but very good. Hitchcock good.
