This is in fact for kids 4 and younger. It's one of those animations that you will find in Nick Jr or PBS Kids that directly targets small children. It's pretty colorful and gives the child a view of what heaven can truly be. Now I haven't read the book from which this movie is based on, or I don't remember if i have. The movie is being narrated by God (Ron Perlman) and you follow Littlest Angel (Caleb Wolfe) and a dog named Halo (Ed Kelly). The story is pretty standard for a children's film, but I found myself not bored like I do with other children's films. This movie delivers great messages in it's most simplistic and purest form for a child can understand. It succeeds in story telling, and it's kinda funny in certain parts of the film for me. Now I can't give it more than 5 cause it is a children's film and it's not really in-depth since it is directed for small children. But I will say if you have a small child roughly 1-3 maybe 4 religious or not. I pop this movie in for them and I think they will like it. good kids film has messages about good deeds, friendship, and stuff like that. Animation is good and colorful and voice acting is good too. Good Christmas film for the little boy/girl in the family
